24.01.2022 My friends, do not lose heart. We were made for these times. I have heard from so many recently who are deeply and properly bewildered. They are concerned about... the state of affairs in our world now. Ours is a time of almost daily astonishment and often righteous rage over the latest degradations of what matters most to civilized, visionary people...Yet, I urge you, ask you, gentle you, to please not spend your spirit dry by bewailing these difficult times. Especially do not lose hope. Most particularly because, the fact is that we were made for these times. Yes. For years, we have been learning, practicing, been in training for and just waiting to meet on this exact plain of engagement. I grew up on the Great Lakes and recognize a seaworthy vessel when I see one. Regarding awakened souls, there have never been more able vessels in the waters than there are right now across the world. And they are fully provisioned and able to signal one another as never before in the history of humankind. Look out over the prow; there are millions of boats of righteous souls on the waters with you. Even though your veneers may shiver from every wave in this stormy roil, I assure you that the long timbers composing your prow and rudder come from a greater forest. That long-grained lumber is known to withstand storms, to hold together, to hold its own, and to advance, regardless. In any dark time, there is a tendency to veer toward fainting over how much is wrong or unmended in the world. Do not focus on that. There is a tendency, too, to fall into being weakened by dwelling on what is outside your reach, by what cannot yet be. Do not focus there. That is spending the wind without raising the sails. We are needed, that is all we can know. And though we meet resistance, we more so will meet great souls who will hail us, love us and guide us, and we will know them when they appear. Didn't you say you were a believer? Didn't you say you pledged to listen to a voice greater? Didn't you ask for grace? Don't you remember that to be in grace means to submit to the voice greater? We know that it does not take everyone on Earth to bring justice and peace, but only a small, determined group who will not give up during the first, second, or hundredth gale. One of the most calming and powerful actions you can do to intervene in a stormy world is to stand up and show your soul. Soul on deck shines like gold in dark times. The light of the soul throws sparks, can send up flares, builds signal fires, causes proper matters to catch fire. 22.01.2022 To an extent, there is a naturalness and necessity in Australia’s bushfire season, yet the current state of emergency tells the tale something more than mother ...nature’s regenerative wisdom. The fires are a vivid and devastating expression of a problem that concerns all of us. It is a problem of politics, of economics, of dismissal of legitimate environmental concerns, of distorted narcissism en masse that has engulfed a significant portion of our human collective. This problem can only be resolved through spiritual evolution that empowers us to outgrow the mentality that led us to this point. Delegates at the recent United Nations climate change conference named Australia as one of the nations undermining global progress in combatting climate change. Our Prime Minister’s response? That he wouldn’t allow the economy to suffer in service to such a goal. He has placed profit above people and planet. This is our national shame and spiritual dysfunction on display. The significant role of human impact in creating and addressing climate change continues to be denied. I have thought long and hard about how such a state of denial can be taking place when the voice of the Earth Mother is screaming at us to wake up. I realised that the culture of denial is an expression of the narcissistic wound affecting humanity on a grand scale at this time. The narcissistic viewpoint sees people and planet as objects to be used, rather than independent beings in their own right worthy of love and respect. It is the toxic entitlement of taking rather than receiving, of seeking what one can get rather than what one can grow in character to protect. It aborts acknowledgement of wrongdoing, for the distorted narcissistic wound cannot take responsibility for anything other than its own feeding at any cost. It is not effective to attempt to resolve this issue at a political level alone. It has to be resolved at a spiritual level through an awakening that is powerful enough to capture the collective and evoke soul growth so that we mature in the use of our voice, our vote, our investments, our consciousness. Many of us are working hard towards such an outcome though commitment to our soul journey. On the individual level, narcissism is notoriously difficult to treat, for at the basis of it is the incapacity to acknowledge a problem. The same game is being played out collectively. Those of us that have the capacity to recognise the truth of what is happening must not be hoodwinked by narcissistic bluster - not in our personal lives and not in our spiritual work. There is a form of Kali - the dark goddess of wild grace - who manifests as Kalarartri. She is a dark night and she is a goddess who gives expression to the unspeakable acts of horror. In Australia we are living amongst Kali’s roaring, truth-telling fire. When we do not have the courage to speak, she will speak. When we do not have the insight to see, she will show us what needs to be seen. The fires are the visible anger, heartbreak, destruction and violence wrought by narcissism, by financial greed, by ego. We don’t need to listen to intellectualisation, dissociation and denial. We need to look at what is happening and respond to that. There is a dearth of speech about climate change in Australia at the moment even when opportunity is ripe and rife and right before us. Evidence of so much fear, oppression and bullying into silence. These manifestations of human ego are unfolding globally. The hatred, the fear, the anger, the divisiveness the sheer bloody-minded separatism and absence of compassion. As I contemplated the state of humanity at war with itself, driven by largely unconscious self-hatred that manifests as betrayal, greed, selfishness and exploitative behaviour, I felt utterly heart broken. I know how much Kuan Yin loves humanity. So I asked her how do you love us humans as much as you do?. I felt her instant response in my mind as clear as a bell. Because that is not what humans really are. She showed me what she saw in humanity - our capacity for courage, for kindness, our potential for compassion, for heroism and for healing. She showed me the light of truth, cleared the fearful shadows and renewed me. There was no denial of suffering - for that panic, fear and desolation can be felt in Australia right now by those of us sensitive enough to it, no matter where we live on our wild Earth. It was the refreshment and peace that my heart and mind needed to tend to the tasks ahead. When we see with clarity, we realise that we are not worthy of hatred. We begin to find peace, to live differently, to disengage rather than fuel that which cannot heal and help and nourish. We contribute to the birth of a different culture, a path of light and of sustainability and of new foundations, new structures, new values. This is the time - collectively and cosmically - to step away from spiritual dysfunction and to build from the soul. When we know who we really area as humans - and it is not the ego - we access our capacity to create from love, to find our way forwards with wisdom rather than reactivity. We need that love to overcome the wounding that has led us to this place. We need that love to have the courage to confront the truth and to create, rather than cower, in response. So what do we do? Become aware but take care not to be consumed by what you are consuming - you don’t want to throw yourself into traumatised ineffectiveness, paralysed by the grief, the terror, the suffering. We break our hearts on the divine path to become more ready and receptive to the healing nectar from the universal heart, to be motivated, not to become so miserable that we can do nothing but weep. Our tears need to cleanse, not immobilise. So take care of your heart. Let it be inspired. Don’t be afraid to feel, and yet also seek the joy of the divine to infuse your heart with strength to continue. Authentic joy is not denial of suffering, it is the energy that gives courage to contribute, to create, to heal, to truly help. Contribute by whatever means you have available to you be it financial, networking, spiritual, emotional, material, creative, educational offer it, dedicate yourself to your path, to your work, know that the birthing of the soul is the birthing of the consciousness that outgrows this current state of spiritual immaturity. Utilize this Breath as many times as you need until you see, sense or feel an opening or response of your Heart opening up to you. This can be heat, a color, movement under your hands or a feeling of needing to move. It may feel as though your Heart is as large as a room. Remember, this is a Multidimensional Energy so it does not necessarily make sense to the ego mind. Just be with your experience, and try not to assess with your ego mind what is taking place. First, know that the webbing has already anchored and is interactive within your Heart Cells. You simply need to maintain your Awareness within your Heart and bring in the Sacred Sound, GRENTAH EE (pronounced gren tah ee). Utilize the sound as many times as you need, and feel the building of energy and essence within your Heart through the use of the sound. Use the conscious breath and allow a letting go within your Heart as doorways open up to you. As you create the sacred sound within your Heart Cells, the webbing will respond to your conscious choice action by establishing a deeper alignment to the essence of the webbing. This will activate the next stage process of Awakening within you. Know that you may see, sense or feel this response from the webbing within your Heart. Continue holding your Heart until you feel that the connections from the webbing are complete for Now. You can utilize this process once a day. Each time you activate this, you take another step forward. This is a Sacred Time. You hold the keys to Home within the vastness of your Heart.
