13.01.2022 A couple of shots before I turned the museum lights off. A lovely Andamooka honey matrix with a crystal opal core. One of our display items.

09.01.2022 Turned the museum lights on and took some shots of these Andamooka lovelies.

08.01.2022 The new opal coin just added to our underground collection. There are 14 other opal coins including the Andamooka commemorative 1930 penny on display. I am sure the mint struck the 1930 penny on the founding of Andamooka, as our town has now been going for 90 years.

08.01.2022 Lovely day for mining today, quantity was there but quality left a lot to be desired. Only a couple of little eyes of colour.

07.01.2022 New pieces in underground display. Indonesian opal and opal on amethyst from Brazil.

05.01.2022 Took a few photos of random pieces from our collection this morning. Opal in quartz, matrix, opal in quartz, opalised shell plate and another piece of matrix. Hundreds of pieces to go, so will post some more later.
