16.01.2022 Hello to everyone still following me after another long break from facebook Thank you My super busy time of joey caring, rescuing, taking in injured & sick wildlife, Looking after multiple species, rehabilitating, dealing with death lack of sleep etc.... has eased and It's time to get back into showing you Andara Wildlife Sanctuary Meet Birthday a little Brushtail Possum that I rescued on the 10th of April on the way home from a Birthday lunch for my partner So... I thought it fitting to name her Birthday She was on the side of the road, alone, in the day!! Possums are very nocturnal, so I knew she was in trouble and too young to be without her mother When I caught her, I could feel her bones in her tail & spine She weighs 500g and is dehydrated! Birthday is settling in well, taking fluids, Possum milk formula and food She is a very lucky possum! "Its All About The Wildlife"

14.01.2022 Meet Fudge - Brushtail Possum Orphan Fudge arrived at Andara after being found with her dead mother She is still very timid, and would rather curl up in a ball, but she is slowly being introduced to Pepper, Marigold and Cassie, her new family ... It's a Possum year for Andara, currently 9 in care. 2 getting ready for release 1 going to a pre release enclosure today 2 with a couple of months to go before pre release and 4 little bundles still in pouches "Its All About The Wildlife"

04.01.2022 My new little unnamed cutie Found by a lady who cared enough to rescue him, as he stood next to his dead mothers body not knowing why he couldn't get back into his nice warm safe pouch with his mother He had head injury, with blood in his little ear After a vet check with my awesome new vet Paul (Paul's vet clinic) and an injection for inflamation, he is doing really well Please stop and check pouches for Joeys, you could save a little life like this one ...
