21.01.2022 Today we have been sorting the flock rams into their lot order for our annual sale, October 3rd. Here is a look at our run of 72 ULTRA WHITE rams. We have some shorn as some clients like them shorn and also some of the better shedding rams, will be left untouched for other clients looking for better shedding ability. All will shed to some degree with ease of lambing, early maturing and tremendous carcass. These blokes have a real knack of getting your sucker lambs to kill weights quick and their skins staying fresher for longer.

20.01.2022 Our June/July drop lambing is done, all successfully weighed, tagged and had their details recorded at birth. They have now been marked, DNA tested and needled and we have moved them out to a bigger paddock to grow like mushrooms. . Luckily we have had a 2 week break from lambing to catch up on some other jobs around the farm and now we are back into it with our second block of lambing. . This block of lambing is exciting as the ewe lambs lamb down. With a good result in the... ewe lamb AI program this year, its awesome to watch this next generation of sheep produce top quality lambs at only 10-12 mounths of age, showing incredible mothering instincts AND, as ewe lambs, this is aways a tick in our book. . This video is of a frantic Ultra White ewe lamb trying to find her lamb, lucky she showed me where it was on the nightly trip around the ewes. I bet he was probably warmer in the hole though. 19.01.2022 We are super excited to introduce our farm to our newest employee, Nomak ACE. We travelled to the the Jerilderie Working Dog Auction on Saturday, with the intentions to purchase a top quality working dog. With much research done at home, we travelled to Jerilderie with a fair idea of what we were after and seeing ACE in the demo and around the yards we knew he would perfectly suit our enterprise. We would like to thank James Fowler for putting such and amazing dog up for au...ction, you have done an amazing job with Ace and Im sure he will be worth every cent. He will be put to good use and we cant wait to see him to continue to develop. Also, keep an eye out for upcoming litters. We are very keen and hope to join him to our number one bitch at home Chevy. Chevy is an every day dog who we couldnt be without. Shes a very intelligent bitch who does it all. Hopefully some future stars to come.

15.01.2022 We are in full swing trying to get organised for the 15th of January 2021. It has been a big week scanning the lambs that were weaned off these girls only 5 weeks ago. The data is entered and sent away, so we will have the most up to date data for the upcoming dispersal. The 2020 drop lambs are to be shorn Wednesday, so vids of them are still to come. Here is a sneak peak of our ewe line up on video day. Individual vids up soon and data to go up when this SG run comes back. Catalogues are under way also, just waiting on the latest data and hopefully they will be not too far away either. We are immensely proud of our Suffolk flock and we look forward to seeing the impact that they can have for you in the future.

10.01.2022 With some much needed rain yesterday we had a chance to get some inside jobs done. With almost all hands on deck this is how we do it, smooth and efficient just the way we like it. This is our 3rd birthing group consisting of 200 lambs from all 3 breeds ranging from 3 days to 3 weeks of age.

09.01.2022 This year with increasing inquiry about our UltraWhites we have decided to select our top 12. After videoing all other lots today we may have missed a few top sheep in our selections but never mind they will be videoed and in lot order on auctions plus soon so you can get a look at our full UltraWhite draft. Some of the rams have been shorn and some left unshorn so that you can see their shedding ability. We have clients that are looking to keep more wool on their lambs but cant go past the UltraWhites elite lamb producing attributes, so tend to select the rams that shed less. Other clients look to a more shedding type to put size and growth into a dorper breed with fantastic results. All rams will shed to some degree and all rams will produce what we think to be the perfect sucker lamb; full of meat - fast growing - high yielding.

05.01.2022 A great sight.. 18-0218, this ewe, with elite data, outstanding structure and type was ET flushed earlier this year and has 5 lambs on the ground as a result of that flush. She has then decided to go ahead and have her own cracking set of twins. Only the ram lamb in the photo as he was very fresh, the second was a ewe lamb and was equally impressive.
