12.01.2022 It’s been a very busy weekend and our last show for the year for the Anderson Dancers volunteers at the Lea Memorial Theatre. With a massive 116 volunteer hours over the last 4 days , which entailed setting up, lighting, sound, canteen, cleaning and packing up with a total of 8 volunteers. Thank you to you all for helping out in difficult year and for your support to the Theatre. We know that it is appreciated by all who use it. ... Have a great break everyone and a wonderful Christmas and we will see you all in 2021

12.01.2022 Don't forget that our enrollment/registration day is on NOV 21st from 10-2 pm by phoning 040 808 3191, or emailing [email protected]. If you are a current student you will receive an email with your registration form. We will be taking enrollments for 4-5 year old students 6-9 year old students... 10-12 year old students All other age groups will need to contact Lindy to put in an expression of interest. We have 2 new classes starting up: "Toddler and me" designed for 2-3 year olds. This starts with the assistance from parents and is a fun way to introduce your younger child to dancing. This group will perform on the Sunday of Panto only. The 2nd class is our Inclusive Dance class designed for students that need extra assistance starting from the age of 8. If your child has always wanted to dance, but has not been able to , then this is the class for them. These students will also only perform on the Sunday of Panto if they wish to do so. 11.01.2022 It was a busy day today at the Lea Theatre. With the commemorative plaque going up at the entrance. Cleaning of all the outside toilets and change rooms, by Kate, Kathy, Darrel and Lindy so that we could use them this afternoon. Then a top 1st full rehearsal from everyone. It’s was simply amazing. ... Thank you to everyone who played a part in the day. Robyn and her crew of runners , Grace and Ann Marie , all our backstage crew, (welcome to Tyler Ashwood) our sound and lighting crew, the cast and of course the students and parents who played a huge part in keeping everybody safe, on track and in line. For such a tough year everyone has been incredible. We can’t wait to see it all together in Nov.
