21.01.2022 More hysteria in the media tonight with The Australian newspaper reporting that the commonwealth bank predicts prices will fall 30% ,it was only 7 weeks ago the...y wrote that Australia would have between 50,000 to 150,000 deaths,and yet here we are with 97,in Jan feb and mar 2019 nearly every paper and media outlet were predicting a 40% fall in prices yet we finished the year up by 11%.Time for everyone to realise there no sport no afl no movies or elections to report on an good real estate is always an easy target.Since last week enquiry in REA is already up 40% and our office has had a 50% jump in enquiry.Not trying to sugar coat things but these sensational headlines are way off the mark and we going to have a solid year and as one smart economist said today that the consumers out there will drive this economy to a recovery that will be shorter than a lot of people think. 17.01.2022 Only in Malvern East.....you're not going to believe what just happened I pulled up to get some fuel, and I noticed these two police officers watching a man w...ho was smoking while pumping petrol. I thought, "This dickhead isnt the sharpest tool in the shed, and with the cops right there too. Anyway, I went inside, paid for the fuel and as I was about to head back out, I heard someone screaming. I looked out the window and the man's arm was on fire! He was swinging his arm & running around and totally freaking out! I then witnessed the cops putting him on the ground & putting the fire out with their coffees!! What a waste of good coffees...I'm thinking, really? Can this get any weirder?" Then they handcuff him & threw him in the police car. I'm still thinking "Well that dick wasnt too smart, what kind of a person smokes near a petrol pump? One of the cops started singing the song "This dude is on fiiiirre. It was honestly pretty funny! So being the curious person I am, I asked the officers what they were arresting him for... One of the officers looked me square in the eyes & said are you serious? He was "WAVING A FIREARM!"
