25.01.2022 John McNamara is an Award Winning Soul & Blues Artist, his second album ‘Rollin’ With It’ which was produced in Ardent Studios in Memphis US, has been released worldwide in March 2017 and received rave reviews in the US, Europe and the UK. It reached No 1 Album with a No 1 Single from it on the International Blues Airplay Charts. John brings an 8 piece band and will ensure to entertain the audience. The historic 5 storey bluestone mill will again be the venue for the 2018 Anderson’s Mill Festival. Entertainment kicks off at 10.30am and the fun continues through the day till 4.30pm in the picturesque township of Smeaton. The festival has been conducted for the past 20 plus years and is a celebration of local foods, wine and music.

18.01.2022 The 19th annual Andersons Mill Festival is on this Sunday from 10am. With plenty of food, wine, entertainment and music on offer together with a forecast 25 degrees - it should be a great day out!



16.01.2022 The 2017 Andersons Mill Festival will be held on Sunday, 2nd of April 2017. Below are early details for the day: The bands confirmed for this year are: > 11am - 1.30pm: Ballarat High School Band > 1.30pm - 3pm: The Royce Twins... > 3pm - 4.30pm: Pennyweight The entrance prices for 2017 are > $30 Family > $15 Single > $8 Seniors > $5 Children The kids tent will be action once again, with activities including Easter craft, face painting, cooking, woodwork, a visit from the Easter Bunny! The stall holders will be confirmed closer to the big day.

16.01.2022 The 2018 Anderson’s Mill Festival will once again be held at the historic 5 storey bluestone mill in the picturesque township of Smeaton. This years festival kicks off at 10.30am on Sunday, March 25th, and the fun continues through the day till 4.30pm. 01.01.2022 The Andersons Mill Festival is proud to present a great musical line up for 2018. The Drowsy Maggies Playing their original harmony-filled songs and fiddle tunes, these girls are an exciting band on the Australian folk scene. The Drowsy Maggies have played at festivals including Port Fairy Folk Festival, twice at The National Celtic festival in Port Arlington and at the 2016 National Folk Festival, where they were awarded the Gill Rees Memorial Award for young musicians.... The Ballarat High School Band The Ballarat High School Band has been part of the Andersons Mill Festival for many years and each year present a quality strong performance from students. We are excited and looking forward to another show from the High.
