So Brittany called the store today at 6:06 tonight and placed an order for $34.90. After a while we called to see how far away she was and when she would be picking up her order- I even left a message. She didn’t answer so I continued to call - after I probably became annoying She finally picked up the phone. She replied that she never ordered with my shop and that she was eating her chips and didn’t know how I got her number and her smug little liar voice said ‘no I never ordered through your shop’ can we please all let this ‘Karen’ know what we think- I even included some evidence - you know modern technology!

08.01.2022 Next Monday 8th June, for the Queens Birthday we have decided to close for the day. With Kat now officially on maternity leave (the countdown is on...), Todd is working double time (7 days a week) to cover her shifts. 08.01.2022 Thanks for all the support! Kat and I would like to thank all of our incredible customers for the amazing help and support we have been shown during the last few weeks. We have been really humbled by the generosity of some people who are going out of their way to continue to order from us! We truly understand how difficult it has been for everybody and while we have been able to keep the doors open it has been hard! We would also like to thank our incredible team who are cont...inuing to work their hardest we are so lucky to have them! Now Id like to let you know just a little bit of what has been going on behind the scenes, not to throw a pity party for ourselves but to highlight how hard all small businesses are working right and how important they are for the larger community... so strap in.... sooo that train station public car park across the road that is usually impossible to get a park - its empty right now - guess they wont be dropping by for dinner after work, those office workers across the road next door around the corner and down the street who drive our lunch trade - theyre all working from home (we miss you- stay safe) all the workshops with the hard working mechanics and tradies - theyre working part week and arent having a team lunch now, with everyone paying via eftpos our bank fees have gone through the roof (oh yes the banks are still profiting off this) those massive increases in prices for fresh fruit and veg - we paid it too- and didnt increase our prices, when everybody went mince crazy and the availability disappeared- we travelled further and paid more to ensure you could still get your home made burger and we kept our prices the same, that fish cake you complained/ abused us about - we couldnt get our usual supply (from 2 different suppliers) so we organised a substitute for x3 the price and again - didnt change the price, that guy who threaten to cough and spit on my heavily pregnant wife - well hes still breathing - and probably reconsidering his life choices (and my size 12 boot) Then there was the robbery.... 2020 has been interesting... So please next time your thinking take out, support your local independent small business we all need your help! The big chains are always going to be there - the little guys who are working 70 hours a week were hanging tough! 01.01.2022 For the last 4 years my family and I have taken part in this amazing fundraising event to help raise money for brain cancer. Brain cancer unfortunately hits very close to home for me. This year (due to Covid) the large group walk isn’t happening, however we are still allowed to walk to raise awareness and fundraise for this brilliant cause.
