14.01.2022 COUPLES SESSIONS... They aren't just good for grabbing nice photos of you and your lover... they are actually a ball of fun and can be a playful way to ignite some passion to kick off an adventurous date night! Sounds like the perfect gift for under the tree to me! DM or email to ask me about gift vouchers this Christmas

14.01.2022 MOTHERHOOD gosh it's a doozie ain't it!? Never have I ever done something so challenging yet rewarding. Something so stressful yet grounding. Something that has no handbook yet comes so instinctively! The pressure of today's technology and the fact we see everyone's lives through their beautifully curated feeds has added extra stress onto the mums of today! Always comparing, always feeling like we could do better. ... Fact is - the best you can do is good enough! If your children are safe, fed and loved... you are already doing a bloody epic job mumma!

06.01.2022 That first skin to skin with Daddy Here's some magical benefits of skin to skin: 1. Holding baby on Dad’s skin increases the development of essential neural pathways, which accelerates brain maturation.... 2. The direct connection with Dad’s skin soothes baby so much that babies’ cortisol levels (stress hormone) are measurably lowered after only 20 minutes of being held skin to skin. And, remarkably, their pain is reduced when held skin to skin. 3. Baby’s immune system is stimulated when placed skin to skin. Dad’s mature immune system passes antibodies through his skin to baby. 4. Through time spent skin to skin with Dad, baby’s body learns to self-regulate, resulting in a regular and stable heartbeat and breathing pattern. 75% of sporadic breathing and slow heart rate episodes are reduced through skin-to-skin contact. Did you get your partner to do skin to skin with your baby? Drop a comment below!

01.01.2022 Did I look this fabulous while pregnant?... hmmm no Do I regret not getting any maternity photos with either of my pregnancies... YES I wish I wasn't so hard on myself when pregnant and actually documented the amazing work my body did to grow my 2 babies. It makes me so sad to think I hardly have any shots of my belly while pregnant. If you could go back and tell your pregnant self something... what would it be?
