23.01.2022 We're extremely proud to be part of the SLAIN Project, collaborating with TomTom and FACTUAL Consulting. SLAIN (Saving Lives Assessing and Improving TEN-T road network safety) is an innovative project using cutting-edge analytics to assess roads as to their readiness for connected and automated vehicles (CAVs). We're grateful to have the opportunity to delivering meaningful solutions from spatial data that help our communities.

14.01.2022 Of all the natural disasters we’ve experienced over time, the current landscape of bushfires, storms and flooding is by far the worst. In both NSW and Victoria, our staff have experienced the devastation brought on by the fires. Through long standing partnerships with biodiversity groups, we’ve often been involved in endangered species analysis and monitoring. The end goal is always the same; how can we best help track, monitor, preserve and support our natural flora and faun...a. Of all our projects, we’ve been most extensively involved with Malleefowl groups over the years, using remote sensed data to find their nests in scrubs and bushlands. Their habitats, along with the habitats of so many other species have been destroyed in fires. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, the firefighters, the communities and the wildlife effected by the fires. Pray for Australia. 13.01.2022 Why is the Crocodile is the Perfect Semiaquatic Animal? Our Dr Nick Read explores this topic in the context in an unexpected light at the @hunteranalytics Meetup next Thursday, 21 Nov. On the Menu: How do I choose a model? How do I know if a model fits well?... What does it even mean for a model to fit well? This talk will consider data as the product of a random process and step through the implications of this for model selection and evaluation. Ideas will be demonstrated through simple examples as well as draw on Nick's experience of modelling bushfire prediction.
