18.01.2022 Punch in your postcode and see how the climate crisis will affect your home. We built this interactive based on CSIRO and Bureau of Meteorology data so, you know, facts and science and stuff about how the climate emergency will impact every Australian. Feel free to show your family.

15.01.2022 It’s not often the place you live and the place you work both get awarded with a Good Design Award for Social Impact. The Assemble Model from Assemble taking one award and The Kids off Nauru taking another. AND another Gold Award for My Victoria for Today Strategic Design. Kudos to everyone. Feel super humbled and proud to live and work where I do. #assemblecommunities @todaydes @assemble.communities

14.01.2022 A beautiful piece with such an amazing rollercoaster of a story. The end to end weaving process is still one of my favourite things to do. From going out and getting the pandanus and ochres, stripping it, soaking and colouring, to finally weaving with an amazing group of women and sharing stories. Like alll good things it is in the preparation!

08.01.2022 We are at the climate crossroads. One of the best things you can do to support climate action is SWITCH YOUR SUPER TO AN ETHICALLY INVESTED FUND. It takes 2 minutes. This is one of the most effective ways of using your money to shift economic priority and showing your support for climate action now. It supports active transition out of fossil fuels by investing your money in the right things at a market scale.... It takes 2 minutes. That’s a well spent 2 minutes and shifts hundreds of thousands of dollars away from fossil fuels whilst sending a really clear message to our government and industry. SOME STATS: The average super per person is worth $168,500 for men and $121,300 for women (ABS). 2 minutes! That’s a lot more effective than giving your old clothes. The super industry in Australia is worth $2.7 trillion at the end of June 2018!!! (Association of superannuation funds of Australia) - The costs of effective emissions reduction [to a low carbon economy] at a national level are estimated to be $35.5 billion from 2019 to 2030 (Sgsep). That is 1.3% of the total Super market. 1.3% of the total population of Australia is 330395 people. - This is really doable, we just need to keep putting pressure. This is a great step. Then tell your friends and family and nag them to do it too. - If the above doesn’t do it for you ethical super funds regularly outdo traditional ones . So make your money work for you too :) And at last ATO count 36% of the population have lost super, so automatically find it in the process! Winning on all fronts. - And if that isn’t enough: $584.5 billion projected cost in damage by climate change by 2030 (this stat is before the bushfires ) Change it over, consolidate now. Apply the pressure and invest in our climate future today :) #climatefuture #climateadaptation #australianbushfires #victorianbushfires #nswbushfires
