04.01.2022 Home grown nastursams bunches. All of these plants are edible the flowers and leaves have peppery flavour. I often make a pesto with the leaves and stalks. It is delicious with 2 cups of leaves and stalks blanched 30 seconds then placed in cold water. Blend the leaves is 1/2 cup of olive oil, 2 table spoon of roasted pine nuts and 2 cloves of garlic. Add some parmeson cheese. Yummm, i often also add lemon juice and a bit of lemon rind and that nice but not needed i just love lemon. Pick up Saturday and Sunday out the front of 88 Macs St Creswick North.
