04.01.2022 Wanna know the secret to finding your perfect foundation? Here are my top 2 tips! Determine whether your skin type. ... Is your skin oily, dry or a combination of both (oily in your t-zone & dry elsewhere). Knowing your skin type is the first step in choosing the right foundation for you! If your skin is on the dryer side, opt for a foundation that’s more moisturising with a dewy finish. If your skin is oily, opt for a foundation with a Matte finish. If you have combination skin, look for a foundation with a natural or satin finish. What condition is your skin in? Do you have blemishes or is your skin pretty clear. If you’re lucky enough to be blessed with clear skin, I recommending opting for a light to medium coverage foundation Alternatively, if your skin is blemished or textured, then you might want to choose a more full coverage foundation. This is why eyeshadow can break down quickly in this area.... The secret to getting your eyeshadow to last all day long is to first, cleanse your eyelids using a cotton pad and micellar water. However, it’s really important that you deep clean your brushes regularly. I'm going to share a little hack I learnt that's going to make cleaning you brushes feel like a breeze A few years ago, I learnt about a little known product that gets your makeup brushes squeaky clean and looking brand new again in a quarter of the time of other makeup brush cleaners. Oh and the best part, it costs LESS THAN $3 That product is........ Sard Wonder Soap Yep you heard it right. The Sard Wonder soap that you can pick up from your local woollies or Cole for a mere $2.65. (Swipe left if you want to see a pic of this magical, life changing product) So how do you use this soap to clean your brushes? Simple run your brushes under like warm water and then swirl them on top of the soap. Then lather, rinse and repeat until the water runs clear So that's it my friends.
