23.01.2022 Heritage protection is always an interesting and emotionally charged topic. Having worked on Heritage buildings in the past there is always the careful need for balance. The consideration of the usefulness and relevance in modern times with the real or perceived heritage value. Personally I also think it's important to remember that these heritage buildings were once modern and new, and the value in the new might not be immediately recognised.
