25.01.2022 Are you getting married on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula? Here's a wonderful resource to get you started with your planning. I adore officiating on the Peninsula as we have so many wonderful venues that cater for every taste and budget. http://www.peninsulaweddings.com.au/real-weddings/
25.01.2022 The internet is full of an infinite number of websites and social media to help you plan your wedding. But it can be very overwhelming and often difficult to know where to start. That's where I can help with this aspect of planning and will provide you with a guide to navigating the internet and my own information booklet to get you started. But if you would like to keep delving into the cyber world for ideas I would recommend Pinterest. Its a virtual scrapbook of ideas and I love it! Here's an example of a 'pin' I found on unique verses that can be read at your ceremony. They are just beautiful! So jump on Pinterest and give it a go! http://www.buzzfeed.com//beautiful-and-unique-wedding-read
25.01.2022 So here's something different... A company that makes functional wedding bands for tradies! https://qalo.com.au/
24.01.2022 Marriage is....
24.01.2022 Celebrants are often asked what our services include and trust me there is lot more than just the wedding day to organise! So here's an idea of what we do for our clients...
24.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW... Marriages were conducted hundreds of years before any church or religion took over the reigns and enforced many of the laws, traditions and expectations we have in today's marriages. The Government have merely agreed and following these religious "guidelines" and enforced them on all of us. Time to step out from these sanctions and into the real world maybe....
24.01.2022 I am about to head off to officiate a wedding and am hoping the rain will hold off for the lovely couple so we can enjoy the beautiful scenery at Garden Vineyard in Moorooduc.

22.01.2022 And this is how it all unfolded!! Today, the 9th December 2017, the law has officially changed and welcomed Marriage Equality

19.01.2022 I'm being increasingly asked by the bride and groom to ask their guests to keep their phones in their pockets and purses. I think it's a great idea!

18.01.2022 I was very excited to officiate my first "Lego" wedding on the weekend! The efforts by the bride and groom were amazing and we had so much fun during the ceremony. My favourite pun being, "they just can't 'Lego' of each other! Congratulations Cameron and Sheree!!
17.01.2022 Often Celebrants are left off the list of services to be acknowledged in wedding articles. Thank you Polkadot Bride for crediting me! And even a small paragraph too! http://www.polkadotbride.com//black-tie-campbell-point-ho/
17.01.2022 Am amazing venue for a wedding in country Victoria last weekend. Butterland was originally a well-known dairy factory in the early to mid 1900's. After laying dormant for a while it then became a candle factory and the current owners spent almost a year cleaning the wax off all of the walls when they bought it 8 years ago! Now, it stands as a beautiful, industrial-rustic venue for weddings. The owner is a florist so for every wedding Butterland turns into this amazing floral masterpiece! A wonderful setting for a beautiful couple. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Horsley!
17.01.2022 Pretty excited about officiating at this glorious venue tomorrow. The Sands Resort, Torquay has such a beautiful outlook to the golf course and lush green surrounds. Fingers crossed for some calm, sunny weather!
16.01.2022 THANK YOU This all happened because of you. We did this together.

16.01.2022 As I conduct a wedding ceremony today I will be thinking of Stephanie, her fiancé and their families in what should have been their dream day. RIP Stephanie
16.01.2022 I often have clients ask, "what should I be doing?" And "what do I do next?" Once you've clarified your aspects of the ceremony with me, there's an endless list to get through. So here's a guide to help you along...

14.01.2022 It was a hot Summers day for Ricky and Amanda's wedding. With the wedding being held at Rickys parents house, the efforts of preparing and putting together a beautiful venue was amazing! The gazebo was made by Ricky and his father and all of the decorations were made and put together by Amanda. Love my job and love working with such beautiful people. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Webb!

13.01.2022 Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Drummond who were married today at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Boneo! It was an icy and windy day down there but we managed to just miss the rain! It was a wonderful celebration though with their adorable 3 month old son who was the ringbearer! Best wishes Mr and Mrs D!
12.01.2022 I am just about to head off to my first surprise wedding! The families of the bride and groom think its a Christmas BBQ.... but its a double celebration today! :)
12.01.2022 I just officiated a wedding in which the exuberant bride needed to kiss and say hi to everyone on the way down the aisle! It was such a true expression of the bride which I think is wonderful to display on your wedding day! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Johnson!!
12.01.2022 It is super amazing that the people of Australia have voted Yes to Marriage Equality... But there's still a couple of hurdles to face before the Marriage Act is amended. The Government still have the upper hand and while it is in their best interests to follow through with their countries opinion, there will be opposition still and senators wanting to add clauses that allow people to not have to officiate marriage to a gay couple (absolute discrimination IMO). So hold tight and let's hope that the next 2 weeks brings an even bigger and exciting moment to celebrate!! http://thenewdaily.com.au//11/15/marriage-equality-what-n/

07.01.2022 Are you looking for some creative and fun ideas for your wedding? Here's a few I love!
06.01.2022 With the legislation of same sex marriage closely upon us, celebrants are divided in their opinions and beliefs on this matter. At this stage, no Celebrant is able to refuse a wedding based on various discriminatary values but this may change. To assist same sex couples with choosing a Celebrant is the introduction of this symbol on the Celebrants webpage. Celebrants displaying this logo have a policy of treating the LGBTI community with dignity and respect. They support the ...Marriage Equality movement and same sex marriage. The logo, combines easily recognised symbols, wedding rings, rainbow colours, and the equal sign. It was initiated and designed specifically for celebrants byJudy Aulich and Charles Foley, so that members of the LGBTI community, and also those who support marriage equality, can easily find celebrants who will welcome their business.
