12.01.2022 Ahead of International Women's Day, I spoke with Sonia de Freitas at Eastside Radio 89.7FM about working in the Australian music industry. ''I’ve always wanted to be a musician, since I can remember, there’s never been anything else that I wanted to pursue and dedicate my life to. I started piano lessons at around 7. 10.01.2022 Life is Brut[if]al, the new album from Five Below, received an inclusion in The Best Jazz on Bandcamp: June 2020, with poetic and astute words written by Dave Sumner: The image of angels dancing on a pinhead is what comes to mind when describing certain albums by Andrea Keller. The pianist has a way of condensing epic passages into unassuming vignettes, as if theres no expression so massive that it cant be captured as a concise, perfect impression to be cupped in the palm ...of your hand. Her 2013 release Wave Rider is an excellent example of her talent for toying with the dimension and perspectives of sound, but her newest leaps to a higher plateau by widening both the scope of the imagery and the influences that shape it. Digital & physical copies of Life is Brut[if]al can be purchased on Bandcamp http://ow.ly/Zmi050AZdJ4

03.01.2022 What a wonderful way to start the year. The New York City Jazz Record has selected Journey Home as one of their Albums of the Year.
