20.01.2022 I received an email late yest avo from the wonderful folk at @musicvictoria advising me that I’ve been nominated/long listed for Best Regional and Outer Suburban Act at the Music Victoria Awards. I’d somehow missed an earlier email about this, so I sure was glad they sent a reminder! I have no idea who has put my name forward for this award, but it was a really lovely surprise. And better than a kick in the guts. Kinda feels like there have been a few of those lately.... So, thank you so much for the nomination, whoever you are! I’m sure there will be some healthy competition but it’s an honour to even be in the mix. 19.01.2022 Our 4-legged baby doesn’t cope with change too well these days. Mind you, she has loved the Covid lockdowns...not so sure how she’ll go once things change again......not that it looks like that’s going to happen anytime soon! She walked onto the stage this morning, stood right where Carly and Heath are going to be positioned tonight, and started idling like an old car. So, I decided to just bring her bed over and see if that helped a little. It did. Problem solved The Von Robertsons live-stream gig will be kicking off via their Facebook page at approx 7.30pm.
