23.01.2022 Holding a card session tomorrow morning at 10.00am at the Pasadena Shopping Centre. Well be making 2 Christmas cards and 1 or 2 tags (depending on time). Heres one of the cards and one of the tags. Ill be starting afresh in the new year with a monthly schedule of card classes. Its a great way to share creativity, a laugh and fellowship with new friends and known friends over card making, a cuppa and a nibble.

20.01.2022 Yes, Christmas is coming - and its much closer than you think. There is about 11 weeks till the special day. Oh dear, how quickly the year is going. As a paper crafter, one needs to start preparing early for Christmas - making cards to share blessing and love with family and friends. I thought I would share some of my cards with you over the coming weeks. As mentioned in a previous post, I also was hoping to participate in the Art with Heart team Heart of Christmas 2019 ...blog hop. However, as a blog hopping novice, I havent worked out all the steps as yet and have had a number of false starts (eg loosing a few drafts of this post - without even trying). Lets hope Ill be in the blog hop next week. Keep an eye out. This card is using the gorgeous Brightly Gleaming suite by Stampin Up which can be found in their current 2019 Holiday Catalogue. To make this card, I used the Christmas Gleaming stamp set, the Gleaming Ornaments punch pack, the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper and the new Delicata Celestial Copper ink. These items were complimented with a greeting from the "Merry Christmas To All" stamp set, a strip of copper foil and Very Vanilla cardstock that are all contained in the Annual Catalogue. The lovely Claire Daly is hosting the Heart of Christmas blog hop this week to check out the teams creations for this week you can visit Claires page. 20.01.2022 I shared in another Social Stamping Blog Hop which went live last night. The theme was Birthdays in Isolation. My mind turned to what we may turn to while we are self isolating. A friend of mine started a large jigsaw puzzle (well over 1,000 pieces) to keep herself occupied, so I decided to to create a card for her that had a jigsaw component. Each week we are showcasing a different Stampin Up colour and this week were hero-ing Bumblebee, a deep yellow.
