In situations like this I would suggest to have a conversation with the person and talk openly and lovingly about how to make it work for both of you.

I got a lovely email from a client who I had the pleasure of marring some years ago just saying hi and giving me an update on the new little man they have... its always such a pleasure to hear back from past couples and hearing they have extended the family... Here is a pic as I am having a word with the groom (really just distracting him lol) while we wait for his bride to arrive... this was at Mt Cotton Rainforest Gardens...

17.01.2022 Changing your Bridesmaids If you are really careful and open about expectations this really should not happen but unforeseen things can occur. My advice would be to avoid this, we dont want your wedding stressful we want to have it #perfectyourway... Its about balance between your special day and how your loved ones are able to be there for you for your special day.

15.01.2022 If you decide to not have a bridal party that is totally your choice. You may like to include loved ones who you would like involved in a different way by giving them important roles such as. -taking care of Music during the Ceremony... - Your Dad or Brother escorting the Bride down the aisle -choosing a loved one to be your coordinator for the Ceremony - Reading a poem or if you have a talented loved one have them sing or play music. There are lots of ways to include loved ones so look at this as an option to include #lovedones

Gift your children a bracelet or cufflinks at the time of exchanging rings.... My advice here is to not rule anything out open your mind and talk in detail with your partner and of course if I am your celebrant please ask me anything anytime. Be gentle and let them know, refer to my post earlier this week and give them a different job to assist you so they still feel special and involved on your wedding day. Having a Bridal Party is a very personal choice as is choosing who will play those roles if you do have a Bridal party.

Having had the honor of being a celebrant for over 12 years no and more than 700 ceremonies I can't believe before long Leann and Ken will have their 10 year wedding anniversary soon where I will be honored in supporting them.
