14.01.2022 Keeping our distance, keeping it fun. How good is Election Day

13.01.2022 After a two week wait, the results of the election were officially declared yesterday and I am excited to announce that I have been elected alongside Marnie Doyle as Councillor for Division 3. I want to take this opportunity to offer my sincerest thanks to everyone who supported me throughout my campaign. We ran with an approach that was fairly unorthodox, but one that kept true to me and I am proud of that. A special thank you to mum and dad for standing by me on this throu...gh some really tough times. I am truly grateful. This result is a milestone in Ipswich's history as I step into this role as the youngest Councillor Ipswich has elected. The youth of the city are the future of the city. I am excited to have motivated so many young people through my campaign and I promise to keep that fire burning. Congratulations to Mayor Theresa Harding and my fellow Councillors. I look forward to the challenges ahead and working with all of you, alongside the people of Ipswich, to build a Council that is forward-thinking, dynamic and trustworthy. I cannot wait to share this journey with you all!
