25.01.2022 This 60 year old house got a face lift. We gutted the entire house & left the bricks, floor, frames & trusses then chopped into it & extended it & changed the roof lines. We re-used all of the existing timber windows. Mind you nothing was level or straight.

16.01.2022 Just a quick reminder with all this strange weather we have been having around the Coffs coast that we are insurance specialist as well as new house builders. We have been doing insurance works in the Coffs area since the 1996 Coffs Harbour floods. We have even done insurance work with the last 2 cyclones in far North Qld, cyclone Larry & Yassi. We do work for all the major insurance companies but what people dont realise is that generally the insurance companies prefer to w...ork with the bigger Australia wide companies which means you money goes out of town instead of staying in town with the local tradies and suppliers. All you have to do is tell your insurance company that you would like to use your preferred builder. We still have to guarantee and warrant our work. Most of the companies employed by the insurance companies asses your job and quote it, for instants the job I am currently working on the company assessed and quoted this leaking patio roof. Their quote was over $8,000 and they were just going to silicone the leaking part up. I quoted $2,000 to put a transfer flashing (not silicone) from under the tiled roof onto the patio roof and replace all the roof screws in the roof while at it. We are getting ripped off and our money is going out of the community. See more
