14.01.2022 Another successful year at Casterton Working Dog Auction !!!! Burge topped the Auction at $10,000 selling to Rob and Toni Buckley from Trafalgar in the Gippsland Victoria. Rob runs a lamb fattening operation as well as 700 dairy cows and he is also a shearing contractor. So Burge will be no doubt very busy!... Burge performed brilliantly at Casterton and handled the massive crowd with ease which was admirable at the tender young age of 18 months . Well done to Burge. You are A true champion mate!

Bloodline includes Karana Digger (three times Aust. Nat. Kelpie Champion), Karana Sami, Milburn Basil and Midgbar Harry. Has trialled. Beautiful nature. Very tough, busy and energetic worker. 04.01.2022 Introducing "BURGE" who is to be sold at the Casterton working dog auction on Sunday June 12, 2016. He is lot 24 in the auction. "BURGE" is a 19th month old, full brother to "CHOCKER" (2015 futurity trial winner), "FOO", "BENNY", "JUNIOR" and "BOOTS". 01.01.2022 What a great weekend we have just had at the Casterton Kelpie Muster. !!! On Saturday I worked Akennedys Choker in the Futurity Trial on behalf of Peter and Beth Sandrall who puchased him at Casterton in 2013 and we managed to WIN the event and collect $5000 !!! Choker worked like an absolute CHAMPION and won the event by a country mile. He certainly is a legendary dog. To top off a great weekend on Sunday Akennedys Benny achieved the equal second highest price in the Auc...tion of $9500 selling to a Bairnsdale Victorian farmer. Not wanting to let the team down little baby 13 week old pup Akennedys Buster also worked like a future champion and then sold to Rodney James from Casterton for $3200. Rodney is one of the main organisers of the Casterton Futurity Trial and Auction so no doubt we will be seeing little Buster working in the Futurity in the years ahead. See more
