25.01.2022 Good afternoon. Hope everyone's weekend had been simply sensational, I know mine has. Okay now let's get serious. Hands up if you want to start a fitness rou...tine but just don't know where to start or maybe you are lacking a little bit of motivation during the winter months. Well here is a quick routine that will get the blood pumping and the muscle moving. It's quick, easy and straight to the point. 1. Jumping jacks - 30 Reps 2. Squats or squat jumps - 10 Reps 3. Pullups - 10 Reps 4. Push ups (on knees if you need to) - 10 Reps 5. Running fast on the spot - 30 seconds 6. Plank Hold - 30-60 secs Repeat 3 - 5 times no rest in between sets and 1 minute rest inbetween each round. if you want to make it harder rather than reps do each exercise for 30, 45 or 60 seconds. Now this is an easy and basic routine, so it can be done at home, whilst on holiday, anywhere. It only use big muscle groups and big muscles burn more energy and fat. Basically working big muscle groups makes you fitter and stronger. So lets get moving and start working on the beach body for summer now. Have a great week end and remember, Fitness is For Everyone.

Always remember this, You don't have to be the fittest You don't ...have be the strongest You don't have to be the fastest But by trying You will be your best The hardest thing to do is walk through that door and try something new. 17.01.2022 Winter, it makes you want to throw the doona over your head and wait it out. But what we should be doing is embracing winter and getting into training super hard. Did i hear you say why? Because before we know it, spring will be upon us, then summer, and then it's to late late. Too late to show that beautifull beach body that you have been working on, because your still lounging around in the winter one. Oh dear. So get out there now, walk, run, lift, swim, ride, whatev...er gets you moving, just do it. And remember the Burnie 10 a little over 13 weeks away, so if you are thinking of entering start training NOW. In the next couple of weeks I will be running some training groups to get us ready. We start slow and well with my running, the middle is slow and yes, the end is slow. But we are moving in the right, and that's what matters. 16.01.2022 Good afternoon. What an awesome day. I have been a bit slack with my post but I will endeavour to put a post on each week. Ok what is my usefull piece of information for you today. Well none, but I do have a challenge for you all. As you all know I love body weight exercises they are simply the best. They make you strong, fit and above all they work multiple muscles. That means more energy burned. To me that's sensational. So I have a little challenge for you. For 7... days try and do........................ 100 pushups and 100 pullups, every day for 7 days. You can do them all at once or why not at initially spread them out over the day. If you are awake for 16 hours that makes only 6-7 per hour. Or do them on groups of 20-25. Go on give it a go 7 days, 700 push up and 700 pullups Wow simply sensational. So let's get fit, firm and healthy. And remember Fitness Is For Everyone
14.01.2022 Wow, another weekend upon us. It seems like the months, weeks and days go by quicker and quicker. Funny the days go by quicker but sometimes our goals seem to... get further and further away. When it comes to getting in shape I always say, treat you body like it your house. If you were to build or renvovate, you wouldn't just do it. You would consult professionals, do research, and devise a plan. So if you would do this for your house, shouldn't you do the same for your body and isn't your body more important. You only get one of them. To build a great body, it takes time, energy and a plan and no not the split program from the latest health and fitness magazine promising you results in weeks. If you want real results a Personal Trainer usually plans for 3,6 and 12 months. Any good trainer wants you to get results but results that are long lastingand not just transitional. We want you to be fit and healthy for life. So if you seem to be jogging on the spot and your goals seem to be running away from you instead of towards you, ditch the health magazines and ring a personal trainer. Get some professional health. 07.01.2022 Good Aternoon everyone. Well Monday's almost upon us but don't be dissapointed. It just means another awesome week is here. A lot of people ask what type of workouts should I be doing, slow cardio or more higher intensity workouts. So go slow or go fast. Well each have their place. Slow cardio will over time period improve your aerobic capacity, better endurance so you can run, walk for longer without feeling tired. HIT will improve your anerobic capacity, make you fas...ter, stronger but not necessarily get any great endurace benefits. But how does it work for weight loss. Longer go slow cardio does burn more calories while you workout, whilst HIT does not burn as many calories intitially but can turbo charge you metabolism so you end up burning more calories over a 24-48 hour period. That's why most personal training sessions only last for 30-45 mins, whereas your walk, jog may go on for an hour or more. Personal trainers want to turbo charge you metabolism to get you the best results and that's awesome. 06.01.2022 Good Afternoon. What an awesome day. Bring on summer, bbq's, backyard cricket and my personal favorite christmas. I love christmas. But you know what I really love, other than my beautiful wife and kids, because lets be honest, I love them most of all. What I love is people, and especially people that no matter what, they always give something a go. We all know that person that no matter how hard or difficult something is they go for it. My wonderful clients do that. ...No matter what I throw at them they keep going. They may slow, breathe hard and complain but they keep giving 100%. Its not how far you run, how much you lift but that you gave it a go. To me that's inspiring and makes me want to do and be better. 05.01.2022 Wow. Spring is here and doesn't a little bit of sunshine make you feel amazing. Well wouldn't it be sensation if you could feel amazing everyday. We all know the feeling, wake up, jump out of bed with an abundance of energy, ready for whatever the world throws at us. Give me some of that. Unfortunately most of us don't really wake up like that. But we can and should. Imagine every morining waking up with so much energy that everything feels easy and life is fun, fun, f...un. Here are 3 easy tips to help bring back that energy. 1. Drink lots of water. Between 2-3 litres. Your body is made up of about 60% water. So hydrate it. 2. Sleep, get some. The average person needs 8-9 hours sleep. So if you aren't getting enough sleep easy solution. Go to bed earlier. Simple. 3. Eat good food. And good food tastes awesome. Last night I had a beautiful meal of Salad, avocado and chicken stuffed with prawns. It was sensation, and it beat any pizza or other takeaway you can buy. Salad, protein with some good fats you just can't beat it. There you have it 3 easy tips to get you started. If that's to hard, try one today, one tomorrow and then join all 3 together.
