18.01.2022 Im gutted to have woken up this morning no longer a World Champion. I feel like I let a lot of people down last night and Im sorry! It was a tough night at the office. Two perforated ear drums, stitches above my eye and inside my mouth and what feels to be a broken nose. I have no excuses. I had a great training camp and felt amazing before the fight. I didnt perform at my very best and was beaten by the better fighter on the night. ... Thank you to my manger Tony Tolj and Top Rank for the amazing opportunity they gave me in headlining at the MGM Grand. Thank you to my trainers Angelo Hyder, Tony Nobbs and Craig Wilson for all of their time and effort they put into training me. 17.01.2022 I still can’t believe what happened on fight night! Everyone could see that it was a punch that closed Franco’s eye and I should have won the fight by TKO. My team is working hard to rightly have this decision overturned but either way I believe Franco and I will have a third fight and hopefully this can happen in Australia!
