14.01.2022 I caught the bug of playing vinyl to an audience as a teenager 37 years ago as a university student. played at the 21st celebration for my friend’s son last night. Felt like a teenager again. Follow your passion and you will always be evergreen.

12.01.2022 I need to get this message out into the open air. They call it imposter syndrome. For me it was that inner voice in my 20s and 30s that kept telling me that i wasn't good enough. The reality was the single threat to growth was that one square foot of real estate inside my head. One day i decided to cut loose and go for it. As challenging it has been, i do not regret the journey since for one moment. If these words resonate you are not alone...... Have a look at this TEDx talk by Mike Cannon-Brookes on 1/8/17. 09.01.2022 Thank you to John Kevin Kiama whose post on linkedin prompted me to write this, just a life lesson that’s taken me decades to learn: i used to give a lot of weight to what other people thought of me and what i do. i used to conform to externalities some were real, some were imaginary. After many years of ups and many downs i now give 0% attention to the externalities and now listen to my inner voice. The path i’ve now chosen is 100% real and unique for *me*. it took me many years to realise this. The path less taken is my journey. This is something i would have said to my 16 year old self.

I wrote this in an email earlier to a colleague for me, mentoring is a drug, the more i do, the more i want to do. its something i’m very passionate about sharing my experiences and life lessons. what’s your passion? whatever it is, just do it.
