21.01.2022 On Saturday 27th June, 2020 My little brother Pete, who had just turned 41, suffered a bleed on his brain and collapsed at his breakfast table. On Sunday 28th he was officially pronounced gone. Living 2 states away it was Monday before I could get down there to be with family. 19.01.2022 Still moving in the right direction. Most of the time. I missed my Move Ring target of 2,500 kilojoules (598 calories) 6 times, all in the last half of the month. Twice I didn’t even hit last month’s 2,000 kilojoules (478 calories) target. I missed the Exercise Ring target 4 times. If it was easy to hit every time the there is no challenge. 17.01.2022 I know I only posted my June update at the end of July and my last BLOG was a big part why. Here is what happened next. When I left Queensland for Victoria to be with family, there were no restrictions flying in or out. Just some extra paperwork to say that I wasn’t sick. The daughter took the car to the club, returned and told her father, Some people in the club offered $100,000 for it since it is a Nissan Skyline R34, an iconic car and sought after by many." 03.01.2022 Well here we are in June 2020. 4 years ago in June 2016 my beautiful little girl Hayley (also know as Warrior Princess, Catgirl, Batgirl and 1 very amazing gentleman I know named Coombesy calls her his Hero) was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. 01.01.2022 The strangest thing to me in my quarantine was my calmer than normal, mental state. Especially when considering the events leading up to it (Read my last 2 Blogs). As someone who has been diagnosed with depression, I really didn’t experience any in that 2 weeks. There were some rougher moments. But we all have those.
