24.01.2022 This afternoon put on a show

22.01.2022 Aurora Borealis, AKA The Northern Lights, AKA the most incredible phenomena on planet earth. I’ve experienced 2 intense experiences with the Northern Lights. 2013 in Lofoten, Norway on a calm night, watching green dancing waves of light light up the sky. It was quiet, cold and absolutely magical. The second time was parked in a camp ground in Golden, BC Canada with 2 of my best mates (who I grew immensely with in the 2 months we travelled together). I had no idea we’d see the...m on this night, but a solar storm sent a huge spectacle of light down as far south as Vancouver, and created a glowing animation of green and pink right through to the early morning. If you can give yourself the opportunity to experience these one day, please do. I can never explain how they really look and feel, all I can do is share what I captured on these nights

21.01.2022 The coast produce some incredible swell and light today. Wamby & Terrigal Haven showing absolute beauty! Feel free to share as always :)

20.01.2022 5:49am this morning

18.01.2022 I spent my morning revamping my LinkedIn, and had a solid moment of reflection of where I’ve come since I last updated it all. I made this post about that reflection.

18.01.2022 A kiss from the ocean Lucky for me, I copped these lips to the face I’d do it again for a shot like this.

18.01.2022 6:12am in nature take a moment to appreciate this, and have a great day

18.01.2022 Power in Solitude Sure we are forced in right now, but this doesn’t mean that the time alone can’t be full of light, lesson and peace. I cannot wait to experience crowds of people and hugs, but I also don’t want to wish away an opportunity to be with just me.

17.01.2022 Woke up to so much vibrancy this morning, and caught some beautiful images I’m again given a gentle reminder to slow down, breathe and take it in. I hope you have a beautiful day :)

17.01.2022 Glass & Sun Out of 300-500 images I’ll shoot in a session, I’m always just looking for 1. Sometimes you shoot in conditions like this where almost all waves are picture perfect. Then it comes down to right position, right settings and right timing. Everything came together on this day.

16.01.2022 Caught some amazing glassy waves and light patterns this afternoon

16.01.2022 Winter delivering an unexpected show today. Nature is so beautiful! Images from Terrigal. Feel free to share :)

16.01.2022 Some of the biggest and cleanest conditions I’ve seen in a long time today. Damn the ocean has power Locations: Wamberal + Avoca Feel free to share as always

15.01.2022 I’m spending a lot of my time and energy on Instagram now. I am so grateful for everyone who follows me here, and will continue to deliver, however if you want more, head over here to follow the journey Have a great day

14.01.2022 Fury Ocean Today, it showed us power. This film shot off Terrigal today. Feel free to share as always :)

13.01.2022 It’s another world below the Ocean. New sounds, new sights, new feelings and an all new experience. I’m excited to explore more under here with a camera

13.01.2022 Flow state From a big swell day at Avoca. These slow shutters are some of my favourite surf images.

10.01.2022 The three things that make up almost all of my life

09.01.2022 What a night tonight

09.01.2022 Macmasters looking picture perfect

09.01.2022 And then, I have nature and art and poetry, and if that is not enough, what is enough? - Vincent Willem Van Gogh. I often ask myself what the point is of doing what I’m currently doing in that moment. In a lot of cases, I’ve found myself chasing something unfulfilling, unrewarding, unsatisfying and uncreative, and that’s when I know things need to change. Because otherwise why am I doing it?

08.01.2022 How do I condense 2 months, 11,000km travelled in a van, 130,000 images, plane flights, ice caves, Bear filled estuaries, sleepless nights under the stars, snow storms, Moose encounters, hand feeding birds & Marmots, the discovery of coffee in my life and coming home with a negative bank account into 10 images? I don’t, but here’s a selection of my favourites. 2016 was a HUGE year of growth for me, both professionally and personally. Canada will forever have a huge piece of my heart, and I’m counting the days I can return. @ Canada

07.01.2022 Every 6 months or so, I give myself an opportunity to reflect on the past. This often means digging into archives to look at old images. Today I realised how much I miss shooting the ocean. Unpredictable, beautiful and powerful. It’s been over 10 years since I picked up a camera, so here are 10 of my favourite water photos

06.01.2022 I can give many reasons to smile today, but the most important one is because it has the power to change someone’s life. Share the smile and make someone’s day better

04.01.2022 From beaming Sun, to the intense pastel skies, to the illuminated moon rising over the ocean. In a matter of 30 minutes, this shift in nature is something else

04.01.2022 Watch this afternoons colour unfold

03.01.2022 The swell was still hanging around today. So much power here, damn! Avoca & Terrigal. Feel free to share as always :) Prints available.

02.01.2022 A bitter sweet image. This one sits in my top 5 all time favourites, and for good reason. I shot this over 5 years ago when everything aligned. This was one of those moments, crammed into a tiny cave, watching the sky glow redder and redder. I’ll be honest, I miss these moments. I think it’s time to find them again. Unfortunately this cave has since been vandalised and tampered with. Why, I don’t know, but it’s a reminder to never wait until it’s too late to cease an opportunity.

01.01.2022 Day 9 - Nightlife A few nights back, I found a place filled with a world of nightlife. Watching Possums, Rats and Bandicoots run through the vines, fulfilling a nights work. I went out to shoot these beautiful animals last night, and found that they were so friendly from being fed over the years. I spent almost 2 hours mostly watching and hanging out, and shot some great images as well.

01.01.2022 A dream scene in a place called home

01.01.2022 Welcome to today The sky was fire this morning, burning as the day begins. And just like, it’s gone. A fleeting moment, just like every moment. A gentle reminder that no matter how intense, how chaotic, how extreme something may be, IT, WILL, PASS. These 3 words have been guides for me the last few months. Have a great day
