20.01.2022 THE RITE OF PASSAGE - That's Rite! (See what I did thereOk the dad jokes are beginning) - There is always a Rite of Passage for anyone, be it sport, a craft, or business. ... - Most people can't get past the first part of the Journey, giving up because they can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. If we understand the Rite of Passage we can then navigate it and move through faster. - When it specifically comes to the craft of Presenting. If you look at the Rite Of Passage, ‘technical' is before Artistry and also before possibility. - So for a Presenting coach, to teach technical is very simple, its basic, a trained process that is then passed on the same way they were taught. This is recycled information which of course gives you the same results as all the others who were taught the same way (Not ideal if you're a leader or pioneer). But these coaches mostly believe the is the end of the road, this to them is the place of Mastery. - But thank god, it’s merely the beginning. 19.01.2022 STEP 3: 'THE EGGELTON PRESENTING METHOD' Time & Space - Perhaps the most potent of the Presenting steps, simply because it's so loaded with thought provoking possibility. It places a focus on the balance of a Presenter's Brain, (The finite source of knowledge currently known to you) and the Heart Brain, (The infinite source of knowledge that you don't even know you know... yet)... - To work in the Heart Brain, we need to focus on the magic in the space between the words, and understand that this space is as potent as the words themselves, if not more so. - Imagine, at the end of every sentence or end of a flow of speech, there's a Galaxy of possibility to step into and explore. Literally, an image of space with words all around for you to discover, and with time you'll find the exact word that right now, if used, would match the frequency of your Greatness. These words are more powerful, often poetic in sound when they leave your lips. - Over time your vocabulary fills with the words, sentences and ideas that have come from this space, to be used again. 08.01.2022 STEP 5: 'The Eggelton Presenting' E X P A N S I O N Expansion, expanding and expander, not to be confused with spandex, has been a go-to word this year, last year and beyond. In fact, so much so that it became Step 5 of my Presenting Method. It was the final frontier, when the skills had been mastered and what we needed was to move into a space beyond our current reality, into where your Greatest self would operate. Some of you may have been part of The Amplify your Mo...ment guided journey that helps a Presenter see themselves operating in this space. There's been many go to words to be fair esp this year, like 'where did I leave my keys', 'where did I leave Leo', 'where the hell am I' and 'who ate all the banana cake?' Expansion is the ability to design the person you need to be to have the experiences you desire...perhaps 2020 not being the greatest example, I feel I've had this in the prior years, building an International speaking business, down to a fine art. As we shift our focus soon from the challenging circumstances of 2020, I've requested myself to make everything I do in 2021 to be extraordinary.
