24.01.2022 Great article today about Chris Lucas’ soon to open flagship restaurant Society at the Paris end of Collins St Melbourne with chef Martin Benn (ex head chef Tetsuyas, ex Sepia Sydney) which will employ 450 new staff. That’s on top of the 1000 he already employs at his other restaurants. Stunning interiors will have Jaw-dropping cathedral ceilings and giant Melbourne-made bespoke chandeliers, marble and travertine walls, bar stools hand-carved from salvaged trees by architects/interior designers Russell & George. 01.01.2022 Hawthorn East, Albert Park, Glen Iris and Camberwell all jumped into Melbourne’s top 10 most expensive suburbs in the past three months, according to new quarterly sales price data from the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV).
