24.01.2022 Doing things a bit out of order...I have shown pics from Saturday's photoshoot and Monday's photoshoot. Now it's time to share some photos from Sunday's outing with young Bailee Gill. Can you believe this was only her second time posing for the camera?

24.01.2022 Yesterday was a special day for my daughter Georgia. We are so grateful to Alle Heggum for sharing an afternoon with us, treating Georgia to a quick makeup session before sharing some modelling tips for a fun photoshoot. Georgia had so much fun seeing what I get up to and putting on a show in front of the camera. And as always Alle brought her special brand of magic to some more beautiful portraits.

23.01.2022 Yay! After all that time locked up, I had my first model shoot in ages yesterday with a wonderful young Emily Caleta. We had a terrific couple of hours at Caloundra. I have only had time to process one photo so here it is!

22.01.2022 I had my second photoshoot with Jasmine Wise yesterday at Twin Waters. It's fair to say we have moved on from a photographer/model relationship to become good friends, we have so much fun shooting together and the results speak for themselves.

22.01.2022 A very different type of photoshoot for me yesterday with Christine Nguyen. Indoors using two flashes...I surprised myself by only taking a few minutes figuring out the lighting and we were able to get on with the shooting, for some amazing results. Jetts Noosa @christine nguyen

22.01.2022 My next Youtube video features a model shoot of a different kind. I got together yesterday with Celina Diefenbach for something a little spooky. What a treat it was catching up again...now to go to work on the video!

22.01.2022 More proceeds of my photoshoot on the weekend with Marleigh Ritchings and Kaelyn Downing. When I started this portrait thing it was really just to see if I could do it after 30 years of nothing but nature photography. I never imagined I would enjoy it so much, and a big part of it is the inspiration I get meeting so many great people. 20.01.2022 Got together with Colin and Roz yesterday, along with fabulous model Alle Heggum for a photoshoot at the Dularcha Tunnel. As you will see Alle was going for something a little darker than usual...wait until you see the video!

19.01.2022 My busy month of portraits continues. Yesterday I met up with Zoe Fitz-Gerald, daughter of one of my favourite people Michelle Fitz-Gerald for some photos at Point Cartwright. Loads of fun and energy went into our shoot and Zoe came up with some stunning images.

After two years of (very enjoyable) work developing my skills, and loads of planning in the past few weeks, I am finally ready to announce my first OUTDOOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP. It will be held among the spring gardens of the Maleny Historical Village, on Saturday September 26th. I am allowing just 9 bookings (one sold already!). For most of the workshop you will be working in groups of three, with an experienced model for each group - and of course the chance to work with each model over the course of the afternoon. 14.01.2022 Another fun photoshoot yesterday, this time a little closer to home with photos around Maleny and Montville. Kaelyn Downing and Marleigh Ritchings are best friends and it shows in these shots of the two girls together. We spent a few hours together (along with two mums/managers) and got plenty of individual and duo shots. Thanks girls for a fun afternoon of creativity.

13.01.2022 My second photoshoot for September was with Krystal Sievers. We started this project right in the middle of Winter and decided to go again when the weather started warming up. Krystal is in the running for Maxim covergirl of the year...her chances well and truly boosted with photos like these!

09.01.2022 I had another wonderful afternoon of photography yesterday, this time with beautiful teenage model Keesha Setchell. There are times when I look through the viewfinder and think to myself 'I can't believe I get to be the one to capture these beautiful moments.' Thanks Keesha for a really great photoshoot.

09.01.2022 I had a great outing with these lovely young ladies - Keesha Setchell and Lucy Edgar at the Noosa Botanical Gardens on Sunday. Enjoyed a really good photoshoot and got material for a new Youtube video I am working on. This is the second time I have worked with Keesha and we all had a great time; we were still going when the sun went down!

07.01.2022 A couple of days ago I had the pleasure of meeting Kat Alexis for a photoshoot at Currimundi nature reserve. Kat's first time back to modeling after a long break and we had a great time exploring ideas among the wildflowers which are just coming to life for a new season. Question: if you photograph someone the first time you meet them...is that what they mean by 'shoot on sight?'

05.01.2022 It's been a busy few days, I had my third photoshoot in a row yesterday with Nisha Katee at Twin Waters. Rather than a lot of formal poses we wanted to make it a shoot full of fun. And after that chilly weekend, we certainly made the most of our fun in the sun.

05.01.2022 My second photoshoot last week was with Krisstle Delaware, ably assisted by her mother Larissa Salton, also a great photographer. At just 16, Krisstle really surprised me with her ability to hit me with a terrific pose and I think we really came up with some fashion magazine quality images. You know...because I am old enough to remember magazines...

04.01.2022 A week ago I had the pleasure of meeting Nyah Covey at Caloundra. It was only Nyah's second-ever photoshoot but if she was nervous it didn't show. In just a couple of hours we got such a variety of images, each one special in different ways. Really enjoyed the shoot - thanks Nyah.

04.01.2022 It was indeed a busy weekend. I only left the house a couple of times and each one was for a photoshoot. Outdoors in the fresh air, I can't think of a better way to use this time. And now I have new batches of photos to keep me busy in my down-time at home. Yesterday's shoot was with Elise Nicholson, ably assisted by her mum Angie, in the pine forest near Glasshouse.

I am selecting photos for my next model video on Youtube, this time featuring Elise Nicholson from the shoot we did just before everything closed down. 02.01.2022 Another photoshoot a few days ago. Krystal Sievers is a qualified personal trainer and wanted a classic bikini shoot so that's exactly what we did. It was a lot of fun and Krystal is a champion to take this on in Winter. It was beautiful when we started but getting quite chilly by the time the sun went down!

01.01.2022 It's a week now since I held the first PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP at the Maleny Historical Village. After all the preparations I was nervous to see how it would go...it turns out I had nothing to worry about. What a great day - 9 students, four models and a venue filled with great settings and backdrops. I really appreciate the support of everyone involved, and that includes Roz Bannan and Colin McLellan who shared their expertise as well, adding to a great learning exper...ience for everyone.
