10.01.2022 A while back I was commissioned to write some music for a production of 'You Can't Take It With You', a comedic play from the 1930s. Although the play is generally forgotten these days, it actually won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1937. A screen adaptation of the same name - starring James Stewart - won the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director (Frank Capra) the next year. This is the theme I composed for the beginning of the action.
