22.01.2022 For those who are new here, I am a personal trainer and coach, primarily specialized in general strength, conditioning and fitness. I offer private, one on one, training sessions as well as small group sessions and 'open gym' nights. I can also create and tailor and custom training program for you, or work remotely with you through online coaching. If your goal is to get stronger, gain muscle, lose weight or just generally be healthier, I can help you take the right steps to ...achieving these goals. As an opening celebration, I am offering a free session to anyone who is interested. Please send me a Facebook message, email ([email protected]) or phone call/SMS (0432 351 724) for more information or to a book in a session.

15.01.2022 I'm very happy to say that, after some delays with equipment, I've been able to train in my gym! Felt awesome to put my equipment to the test, and I even manage...d an incline Bench PR 95x5, with plenty in the tank. I'm still waiting on my competition platform - due next week - but I'm really happy with how this has come together! @ Andrew Pegg Strength & Conditioning See more

08.01.2022 If you haven't tried the pin squat, I highly recommend giving it a go. It's similar to the paused squat, in that you have to squat up without any stretch reflex or rebound coming out of the bottom. However, since the weights rest on in safeties at the bottom of the rep, the pin squat really highlights any movement pattern issues. If you go down with the bar too far forward on a paused squat, you can adjust your balance before coming back up again. Not so much with a pin squa...t - you are stuck in the position you land in. This makes it a great tool to improve your squat form, as well as build muscle! To perform this squat variation, start at the top, descend as you normally would, and let the weight come to a dead stop on the safeties, then squat up. Avoid bouncing the bar off the safeties and make sure you stay tight to the bar at the bottom. I always prefer to start from the top down, since that's what you're doing in a normal squat, so we will get the best carry over effect this way.

07.01.2022 I am happy to confirm that I do meet requirements to stay open and continue working directly with my clients (both one on one or in small groups)! All current health requirements are met, including having soap, hand sanitizer and disinfectant on-site, with adequate space to ensure all social distancing requirements. Please contact me if you would like book in a session, and as a business-opening sale, one on one 50 minute sessions are available for just $50. I'm also happy t...o work with you to find a structure/session plan that suits your needs. I operate out of a private facility with a wide range of equipment available. Please be in contact for more information. Mobile: 0432 351 724 Email: [email protected] Or send me a message through Facebook.

06.01.2022 So unfortunately, as per the QLD Government (https://www.business.qld.gov.au//covid-19-restricti/easing), personal training is still limited to outdoors only during phase 1 of the easing of restrictions. I will keep everyone updated as the situation changes; at this stage it looks like indoors PT will be allowed from phase 2.
