25.01.2022 Practice 2 done - Pushing things a little more, took 2 seconds off to be in the 1:11s. Sat out Practice 3, session started dry but could see the rain coming - good thing I did!

25.01.2022 Well it has been a busy summer - pleased to say... were on our way to Winton Motor Raceway for Round 1 of the Australian Formula 3 Championship running with the AMRS Car didnt have an engine in the back 2 weeks ago but the legends at R-Tek Motorsport Services worked their magic - big thanks to Ian and Meryl Richards for making it all happen again for 2019!

24.01.2022 Saturday went relatively well, qualified P8 after having a little incident with a slower car that resulted in a big spin. Consistent race 1 Finishing in 8th getting our fastest lap of the weekend to date and within a second of the next 3 cars.

23.01.2022 A bit of a surreal weekend for the final round of the 2018 Australian Formula 3 Premier Series. Our goal at the start of the year was 2nd in National class (one better than last year), we came into the weekend in 3rd 20 points behind. First time on The Bend Motorsport Park such an amazing track! We finished 4th, 3rd and 4th in class, however the driver in front was excluded from the weekend for an altercation in pit lane moving us up one place in each race and to 2nd in Nati...onal class for the series. A huge thanks must go to Ian & Meryl Richards and the R-Tek Motorsport Services team for all of their hard work, Adam, Rory, Drew, Sam, Andrew. Congratulations to Roman for the National class title (R-Tek 1-2!), Harri Jones on the Premier class win and Cameron Shields for taking it to the final race of the year and for smashing the outright lap record. Huge thanks also to ABR Signs, Flipside Virtual, Stratco, Stratco & Officeworks for all of their support over the year. Only one more step on the ladder to go, 19 weeks till the 2019 season starts!

21.01.2022 Real keen to get on the Bend! Awesome race track and awesome cars! This track was made for Australian Formula 3! Entry is FREE for the weekend so why not pop out to this fantastic venue for some great racing! Big thanks to Flipside Virtual for coming on board for this round! If you need anything printed, custom business cards or even Christmas cards - these are your guys to do it!... As always thanks to ABR Signs for the decals this year and R-Tek Motorsport Services a great team to work with. An outside chance at 2nd for the National Class but need a lot to go our way.

21.01.2022 Race 1 yesterday was going so well! Decent start, avoided the first lap melee. Had made it up to 5th from 8th on the grid before the input shaft let go. Shaft replaced and ready to go from rear of grid today.

18.01.2022 Decent first day here at Morgan Park Raceway for round 3 of the Australian Formula 3 Premier Series. Another new track to learn and time kept coming down. New boots for Qualifying tomorrow! Big thanks to Darrell Hamilton for the pics!

18.01.2022 Solid start to the weekend - though the qualifying position doesn't really show it. Practice yesterday went well - we got down to our previous best lap on old tyres and a warm track. Qualifying this morning went well where we took nearly 2 seconds off our personal best. This still left us 8th though as pretty much everyine else went quick too! Is down to the racing now! Big thanks as always to the R-Tek Motorsport Services for the great work they do! Thanks also to ABR Signs, Flipside Print and Stratco for the support.

17.01.2022 Sunday was exciting to say the least. For race 2 in the morning the track was damp. We started 8th, kept it clean and on the track to come home 5th and 3rd in class. A heavy downpour before the feature race meant wets, a brief stall on the grid left us playing catch up. Got up to 5th again closing in on 4th but spun in the tricky conditions. Recovered to catch 4th again going through the final corner almost side by side but spun getting greedy on the throttle trying to slip up the inside, still finished 5th again and 3rd in class for 3rd overall for the weekend in class.

17.01.2022 Not the best day yesterday. An incident early in Qualifying left the back of the car damaged and a grid spot of 14th. R-Tek Motorsport Services did a great job to have the car on the grid for race 1. Car stalled on the line dropping to 18th, Managed to claw back to 10th, almost held on for the Class win but Shane got us close to the end. Race 2 coming up soon.

16.01.2022 Our new fastest lap around the Bend Motorsport Park - 1:47.4648, five seconds faster than last year! And still the fastest ever Dallara F304 lap!

15.01.2022 Race 3 ended up 6th outright and 3rd in class which is where we finished for the weekend! Very happy with the final race, consistent with nearly every lap in the 1:10s on old tyres. Huge thanks to R-Tek Motorsport Services and the team, Ian and Meryl Richards, Adam Sanderson, Andrew South, "Ghost" for all your hard work. Congratulations to Jason Hore and Roman Krumins for your weekend long battle (1 point in it in the end). 15.01.2022 Real bitter-sweet weekend for Round 3 of the Australian Formula 3 Championship at The Bend Motorsport Park. After a great Practice 3 where we were 4th outright and quickest in class, Qualifying didnt go so well. Freezing cold conditions combined with a lack of confidence in the car and traffic meant we ended up 8th. Race 1 went really well, 6th by turn 1, 5th a few laps later and finished 4th outright and 2nd in class. Race 2 was again first thing on a freezing morning. Got ...good temp into the tyres and made a great start going into turn 1 3rd just behind the leaders. Gearbox however needed its blankey and refused to play for the rest of the day! 13.01.2022 Decent first day at The Bend Motorsport Park. Went quicker each session and look to be competitive in class. Thanks to R-Tek Motorsport Services for a great car today. 13.01.2022 Got out for 1 more practice session on a drying track so no further time improvements. Torrential rain has well and truely set in now so unlikely to run again today!

13.01.2022 Busy day today with qualifying and 2 races today. Qualified 7th (4th in class) dipping into the 1:10s. Race 1 finished 6th (3rd in class) but struggled a lil with rear brakes and understeer. Race 2 finished 7th (4th in class) after a mistake. The R-Tek Motorsport team had the car dialed in though dipping into the 1:09s Some great shots here by DR Motorsport Photography, cant wait to get the high def shots!

08.01.2022 Looking forward to being a part of the Australian Formula 3 Championship in 2019! Bring it on!

08.01.2022 TV ALERT!!! Tonight on Foxtel 173 the BLEND LINE TV coverage of the Winton round is on! 8.00 PM S.A time. It was an up and down first round of the Australian Formula 3 Championship, after a difficult time in Practice we hit our straps in Qualifying beating our previous best lap by nearly 2 seconds. Race one saw an electrical gremlin steal our good pace leaving us well off the pace finishing down in 8th (4th in class).... R-Tek Motorsport Services found the lil critter and a good start saw us running 6th (3rd in class) after 8 laps. Lap 9 we came across a car, recovery vehicle and marshal across track and slowed for the double waved yellows we were passed and hit on the way through by the car behind who hadnt seen the flags or incident. Fortunately the right call was made eventually and we were given our place back finishing 4th (2nd in class). A mistake in race 3 whilst running 5th (3rd in class) dropped us to the rear. We kept pushing hard for the 18 lap race and crossed the line back in 5th (2nd in class) for 2nd in class for the round. 06.01.2022 New belts! It’s been a quiet 17 months, Sooo keen to hit the track this weekend!

05.01.2022 Great day at Morgan Park Raceway for round 2 of the Australian Formula 3 Championship. Whilst we qualified down in 9th we were less than a secons away from 4th! A few changes made by the R-Tek Motorsport Services boys made a big difference for race 1 We fluffed the start due to a short light sequence but fought back to 6th by the flag with the fastest lap in class....
