25.01.2022 It’s been a busy Kombi week. The bright red/white one has 600,000 kms on the odometer! Still drive like new!

25.01.2022 I had an Audi S5 in last week. Not sure about the extra downforce on the rear! Nice friendly customer

25.01.2022 I recommend getting pre-purchase checks before buying vehicles. This is a 2009 VW Tiguan 2litre petrol. The PCV valve had failed causing a rear main seal failure. The last mechanics had siliconed the bottom of the bell housing to cover the oil leak. Results were transmission removal, replaced the crankshaft seal and the PCV valve. ... A very expensive repair. Stay safe friends See more

25.01.2022 Wow, what a week of great Volkswagen’s. Thanks Bastian and Paul for allowing me to work on your great cars. Bastian’s Beetle still has the original dealer sticker on the rear window and I certainly didn’t remove the Ampol lube sticker!!

24.01.2022 Beautiful sunrise in Pearl Street this morning. Have a great day.

24.01.2022 Please note that I cannot repair or rectify tuning problems on vehicles if they turn up without fuel. This Golf R beats a Passat that I had in for a service last week. That had 2 kms to empty.

24.01.2022 It was GTI day on Thursday. There’s at least another one hidden there as well.

23.01.2022 I would like to wish everyone a very happy, safe Christmas. Thankyou for your custom in 2018 and for allowing me to repair your fantastic cars. I will be closed until Tuesday the 8th of January.

23.01.2022 Another beaut Beetle to finish off this week. Thank you Glenn for entrusting me with your great car.

22.01.2022 I would like to wish my customers a very happy and safe Christmas. Thank you for your custom during 2019 and I hope that 2020 is your finest year. Its been a hectic busy year in here and I would like to thank everyone for your patience with the booking schedule. This business will re-open on Monday the 6th of January. Merry Christmas to all !

22.01.2022 I had a 1958/59 kombi in today. This customer shipped it to Europe in 1970 and drove all around including Ireland. To top it off he did the ultimate road trip, back to Tasmania! The fit out inside is all wood, very 60s. This is a very special Kombi with a lot of history.

22.01.2022 Wow! Thanks Leah and Beau for bringing in your super clean 67 micro bus this week. What a beauty!

21.01.2022 Good morning all. Very similar designs here. Both based on the same chassis. The Audi TT runs 4wd and a much more powerful motor. I wish you all a great Thursday!

20.01.2022 This business will be closed until Monday the 26th of October. (Monday week). Take care people.

20.01.2022 Its been a busy Kombi week. The bright red/white one has 600,000 kms on the odometer! Still drive like new!

17.01.2022 Beautiful sunrise going on this morning. Have a happy safe sunny day.

17.01.2022 Yep, about right huh?

16.01.2022 I have praised the strength in the late model Volkswagens for years now. This happened to my fiancs Mk7.5 Golf last night. 4 people in it when it was hit by the Falcon at high speed. The Golf was stationary. The Ford was totalled and was a tow away car for scrap. With a couple of sore backs, the Golf was driven home. Just goes to show the strength in these cars as it would have been a lot worse in so many hatchbacks out there.

15.01.2022 Wow, what a week of great Volkswagens. Thanks Bastian and Paul for allowing me to work on your great cars. Bastians Beetle still has the original dealer sticker on the rear window and I certainly didnt remove the Ampol lube sticker!!

14.01.2022 This is devastating

14.01.2022 Before and after pics of our Mk7.5 1.4 TSI Golf. It sat very high on the 18 inch wheels but fitting a set of 30 m/m lower Eibach springs makes the world of difference. Have a happy safe weekend.

12.01.2022 This is the full video of my front door camera before it lost connection. Amazing how it all survived. Half an hour in 2 minutes. Bermuda rd, Glen Huon Tasmania. This is me turning up this morning. https://www.facebook.com/100000874915225/posts/2135646376474505/

11.01.2022 This is becoming an almost daily job these days with faded headlights. The pics show the initial problem, I think it will end becoming a roadworthy issue one day. All up, it takes 8-10 minutes and a few hours to dry. Nothing like having decent lights at night! I would like to wish my friends a safe healthy time at present.

10.01.2022 It was GTI day on Thursday. Theres at least another one hidden there as well.

10.01.2022 Just letting everyone know that this business will be closed until Monday the 28th of October. Sorry for any inconvenience.

08.01.2022 These things look deadly, I pity the poor firies that are on the ground near them...

08.01.2022 I get a lot of Beetles in my workshop, but caterpillars are today’s menu for lunch it seems

08.01.2022 Wow, the people and vehicles that I see daily are eye openers. This is Axel and Liesas 1.9 turbo diesel Syncro Transporter. All the way from Germany and travelling the world

07.01.2022 Its been rebuilt again..

06.01.2022 Oops, 8 open inlet valves equals zero compression! Just another failed timing chain on a GTI.

05.01.2022 Had to share this.....

05.01.2022 Jest some of the amazing cars that have been entrusted to me to repair and service through 2018. Looking forward to another great year coming up. Happy Christmas all and a very happy successful new year!

04.01.2022 Novel way to get Golf to me. This car had a badly cracked and holed sump. Tape? Doesnt do it well. Watch out on the wet slippy roads tonight!!

02.01.2022 Wow! Takes me back a few decades with all of these immaculate air cooled Volkswagen’s in here today. They outnumber the Watercooled models today! Thanks to my customers for allowing me to repair your much loved cars.

01.01.2022 This was a situation I had with a VW Jetta today. Oil managed to get into the cooling system via the heat exchanger. As most will know, coolant is usually nearly as thin as water, this was pretty well clogged up and I have no idea how well a nearby workshop will go with flushing out the blocked hoses, radiator and heater. This is as bad as it gets. I managed to drain half a cup of muck from the radiator in 1.25 hours.

01.01.2022 As a precaution against the Corona virus, I have decided to disinfect customers cars in places of contact, before and after doing any work on them. This may cause a minor (very minimal) odour inside my customers cars which will subside almost immediately. Please understand that this is my part to help with spreading this virus further. Stay safe and well out there please
