20.01.2022 Nice R33 we completed a while ago. Running a Link G4 Plugin. Making a very solid 370kw @ wheels at 20psi on E85. Link G4 Plugin, Innovate ECF1 Gauge wired back to ECU. Giving Wideband, Ethanol Content, Fuel Pressure and Fuel Temp back into the ECU. From these inputs the ECU has been configured with Closed loop fuel control, Flex Fuel and safety features for both fuel pressure and Lambda Error.... This build is something a little different with the Commodore Ute being powered by a 2JZ, attached to a Transbrake Powerglide and custom sheet metal 9 inch in the rear. Boost coming from a GTX47 at around 40psi the car runs on pump United E85. About to get a birthday in the way of a built short motor ready for The Road Trip Drag Challenge later this year

13.01.2022 Very tidy GU Patrol in for a 12mm pump and turbo package. Car was already modified with a DC3 injector pump and a high flow standard turbo. We fitted a DC6 pump, DC6 injectors, Performance 4x4 18G turbo kit and Tuned the combo to suit. The vehicle has picked up big power and torque throughout the majority of the operating range, NO SMOKE at all. 256whp 620nm. ... To accompany that new found power and with the plans for heavier towing in the near future we also did a full go over of the cooling system with new water pump, thermostat, UFI fan upgrade kit and new Adrad Copper/brass radiator making sure the kettle wont live up to its name

12.01.2022 We recently had the pleasure of working on a HDJ78 Series Toyota Landcruiser fitted with the 1HD-FTE. The vehicle arrived in a somewhat stock configuration, with basic accessories. We went on to remove the standard turbo, injectors, intercooler and Engine control module. We upgraded the turbo, injectors and control module with GTurbos Bad boy stage 2 kit. We accompanied this kit with Go Fast Bits Boost controller/EGT module. This gave a control over boost and a reference to... exhaust gas temperatures. To cool the heavily increased airflow and boost requirements for this setup we dispatched the vehicle to FFM Fabrication to have a custom front mount intercooler fabricated to use as much frontal space as possible for maximum efficiency. FFM also fabricated all the air box components and inlet piping to hold up the increased flow and pressure demands. This required the relocation of many air conditioning components into the engine bay from behind the grill. The intercooler, air box & piping worked flawlessly giving us stable inlet air temperatures at 35+ psi of boost. To accommodate a larger amount of airflow we fitted a 4 inch stainless steel snorkel which mated nicely to the FFM air box. A HDP catch can was fitted in a custom location to give us best control over the engines crank case breathing system. To ensure maximum reliability we serviced many components of the vehicle, upgraded radiator, serviced cooling system, set valve clearances, replaced fuel filters. The vehicle made a whopping 298rwKw / 917Nm (399rwhp / 676ftlb) @ 37PSI on the high boost tune and 217rwKw / 663Nm (291rwhp / 489ftlb) @ 20 psi on the low boost tune. Considering these engine came out between 120 150kw at the crank, this is an impressive gain to say the least.

10.01.2022 Another Hillclimb car in for some chassis setup and some pre season repairs. This little beast is running a Hayabusa engine boosted by a Centrifugal Supercharger running on methanol. The tips the scales at around 330kg and has a tad more than that in Horsepower what a weapon!!!

This 2018 Ford Mustang we had the pleasure of fitting the Street Fighter SF700S Supercharger Kit to is the first vehicle to run in this new facility. The SF700S Supercharger Kit is comprised of a direct bolt on 3.0L Whipple Gen 5 Twin Screw Supercharger. 09.01.2022 We recently had the joy of working closely with this customer and providing advice towards components for this bugeye WRX project. The client was handy with a spanner and carried out most of the bolt on upgrades himself. The engine is an EJ205 with stock internals fitted with a GTPS02 turbo, Top Mount Process West Intercooler, Injector Dynamics ID1050x Injectors and a Deatschwerks DW300 in-tank fuel pump. This vehicle has a Cable driven throttle, this is a key identifying p...oint as the cable throttle Subarus within the years 2001 2005 have a great ECU fitted from factory that support custom re-flashing enabling many great motorsport features listed below. Launch/anti-lag Flex Fuel (ethanol content sensors) Speed density mapping flat foot shift/no lift shift knock/detonation engine light warning One press map switching Water methanol injection Once the client had finished fitting all out recommended components including a flex fuel sensor enabling the vehicle to run seamlessly on anything from 0-85% ethanol content. We rewired the MAF (mass air flow) sensor loom to a motorsport open element IAT (inlet air temperature) sensor. By carrying out this minor modification we are able to increase the power further than the stock MAF measuring window would allow using a speed density calculation. Upon completion of these modifications we fitted the vehicle to our Dynapack AWD hub dyno and commenced tuning. This resulted in 250awKw / 427Nm (334awHp) @ 22PSI on United fuel E85 & 193awKw / 315Nm (259awHp) @ 16PSI on 98 octane. The owner has since put the vehicle through its paces at Lakeside Raceway and couldnt be happier. 08.01.2022 APR Stage 2 v2.6 is now available for the new Golf R, S3 and TTS! This new update provides better 0-60 mph times through a recalibrated launch control strategy within the ECU. During testing we saw 0-60 times reduce from an average of 3.6s to 3.4s and 3.2s via Dragy! Other improvement include a more linearized throttle map, improved boost control, and more drivability changes. 08.01.2022 Some of the projects that have been taking their anger out on the hub dyno recently

06.01.2022 Today we had pleasure of working with a BF XR6 Turbo Falcon fitted with a fresh performance engine by another performance centre. Our task was to perform a First Engine Service, Fit a Hurst Shifter and Oil pressure gauge along with a tune check-up on your Hub Dyno. The customer came to us because he was looking for repeatable power runs, something that he wasnt achieving on the last tune on a roller dyno due to the rear wheels constantly breaking traction. With a hub dyno th...e wheels are removed and the dyno pods bolt directly onto the axles, accurate repeatability is ensured as the risk of tyre slippage on the rollers is removed. Upon fitting the vehicle to our Dynapack Hub dyno, the first run bought to our attention an ignition blowout issue. This is caused when the Combustion gases are so dense that the spark cannot pass through the gas to ignite it. This is common on many forced induction applications due to the extra air that is forced into the combustion chamber. These symptoms wouldnt have been as evident on a roller dyno as the noise generated by rollers would have made it hard to differentiate whether the vehicle was breaking traction or blowing out the spark. After removing the spark plugs and decreasing the plug gap to what is required for a high boost application like this one, we were able to put down some solid power runs and fix up the higher RPM points of the Fuel curve that werent able to be checked previously. Something as simple as plug gaps allowed this setup to make a further 55whp on the same boost pressure as can be seen in the power graph attached. The final Power figures resulted in a stout 846rwhp @ 27psi on a 67mm Hybrid custom turbo. The vehicle is now off to our fabricator to make a custom oil catch can for this application.

06.01.2022 ***It must be Christmas Haltechs everywhere!!!*** Here is one of the cars to come through the shop lately JZA80 Drift car Non-vvti 2jz-gte standard internals, Haltech Elite 2000 ECU, Haltech single channel CAN wideband, 12 position rotary trim switch, 3 port boost control solenoid, Injector Dynamics ID1000s, United Petroleum Pump E85 Fuel. 510whp/430lb/ft - 380wkw/580Nm ... We ran into an issue early on when tuning this package that the twin plate clutch refused to clamp anything more than 650nm. As a solution to get the most out of the current package we ran a tapering boost curve on the high boost setting to run along underneath the clutch limit with a margin to try and let it live for a while. The Three runs that you see are settings 1-3 on the rotary trim switch which trim the power nicely. Once a new clutch goes into the car and some more fuel system we could add a few more levels of boost on that switch. See more

02.01.2022 Another Haltech setup done and dusted in this R33 track car setup for tarmac rally and road course. Haltech Platinum Plugin RB25DET, 1000cc injectors, United Petroleum Pump E85, 3 port boost control solenoid, GTX3076R and 12 position rotary dial for adjustable boost control. 351wkw/515nm @ 18.5psi ... Car was previously 98 octane and making around 250wkw. We did the E85 tune, added closed loop boost control, boost by gear and boost trim via rotary dial. All of this to give the driver the choice of different torque levels to match the track/conditions of the day. #smarternotharder #haltech #ahtptuned

The package was rounded out with a set of headers and cats the customer supplied to be mated up to the rest of the factory exhaust system (has rear muffler deletes).
