Its definitely been a challenging year for most of us I would just like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Brilliant 2021. After a year of refunding customer bookings (and sadly my entire 2020 income), cancellations and constant changes, Sadly, Travel Counsellors have announced their departure from the Australian market on 28th February 2021. As part of Travel Counsellors departure from the Australian market, they have partnered with Express Travel Group, and I will be transitioning my business over to the the newly formed Independent Travel Advisors brand. We will be know...n as ITA. Why ITA? ITA is 100% Australian owned under the banner of Express Travel Group who is also 100% Australian owned. That has never been more important! Express Travel have been in the industry for 30 years, so their experience & the buying power is enormous!! As ITA, we will partner with all of the suppliers we previously partnered with at Travel Counsellors & in addition we have new & exciting partners such as Luxury Escapes & Creative Cruising, along with even more exciting ones still to be announced!! I can cater for the ready made budget packaged holidays, tailor make holidays designed especially for you and with you, along with offer an incredible range of luxury boutique high end holidays. My new brand will see a revamp of my agency, but I will continue to offer the same personalised, professional service that I always have. My new system is state of the art, also giving me direct access to the airlines & ticket issuing and reissues. Many of our head office staff are moving to ITA as well, so we are not transitioning to this exciting new venture alone and have our TC family on board. All of your bookings and credit files will smoothly transition across beginning from 21st Feb and you as the customer will notice no difference at all other than the name (and currently the absence of the app ) as we work together with ITA to introduce an even better version of the previous myTC app. Everything remains the same with current bookings and credits. Only my business name changes. ITA hold the same core values & ethos as Travel Counsellors. They are Australia’s most respected travel brand & Australia’s largest group of independent travel agencies and I am really to be moving forward with you my clients, by operating a business with this amazing company. I have had an incredible 5 years with Travel Counsellors. During that time, I have built an amazing local business. I have loved every minute of it, and am grateful for all of the ongoing support that I have received. When we start travelling again, I am here! Your current bookings/credits are all safe and protected with me & I am looking forward to planning and creating your perfect post-covid holiday. Join me on my amazing new journey with ITA.
