21.01.2022 Its not always just a matter of waiting it out and getting back to the studio if we dont have the finances, customers and support to go back to.... Dance Studios are businesses with many expenses and overheads from rent, bills licenses, permits and we have struggled to stay afloat...

21.01.2022 The Government has announced that school camps can resume. While this is a positive step for students there is such another level of a double standard to this story. Yesterday the dance Industry was told that studios were classified within the Creative Studios category implementing that regional studios could open very soon. Within a few short hrs the government renegged on that and we reverted back to the original categories of gyms & indoor facilities. As an industry we... are working frantically to have this changed - and as a studio in a town that has fortunately had very low numbers of COVID - this news was yet another blow. If outdoor sports can begin and 18 & under can even engage contact sports! and Pools can be open? Then the unfairness is not on! Safety measures and covid plans have already been set and implemented in our schools it is of our utmost highest importance. Sadly our industry is continually lacking acknowlegement... All we want & ask is the chance to continue our businesses before we are forced to face the decision of possible closure. 19.01.2022 Its with very sad regret that ANDS will be stopping face to face classes at Studio from Thursday on. Its so dissappointing to have a few weeks back and to be shutdown again Im quite devastated for us all in this aspect... As of next week we will be returning to Zoom classes. If you cannot continue with online Zoom classes please let me know asap. Please try to continue with Zoom! We will even be looking to offer special surprise classes with professional guest teachers a...nd choreographers aswell! Amongst our normal classes! Which will be so exciting to get taught by some of the top professionals in the country! However we will run our last lot of normal classes at studio tomorrow: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. Numurkah students will need to attend the shep studio for their wednesday classes... Thursday jazz students are welcome to combine with Monday classes of minis, Jnrs, or Inters... 18.01.2022 So Proud of this one! @charlotteseall @danceforlife.charlotte @front_and_centre Online Oct Comp:... * 2nd = Hip Hop * 2nd = contemporary * 3rd = Musical theatre * HM = Jazz * HM = tiktok challenge * WINNER = Inter Most Outstanding This girl has worked so hard! She injured her foot again and had to watch classes when we return from 1st lockdown... for 6 weeks... she watched every class in her moonboot... the week she got the okay to dance again we got locked down... out of her 5 classes she got to participate in one class before shutdown commenced again... She then worked so hard with her solo videos over and over... to finally get the chance to enter into online comp...on her own ... without being allowed to do any proper privates with me through lockdown... and then had to do all her filming in outdoor areas which proved very challenging... I want to say how impressed ive been and how well dancers have come together from week 1 - week 4! You have all impressed me and staff so much... Id like to thank @charlotteseall @breanna.s2 @deanneseal for such a nice thought of flowers goodies and card! Charlotte finally after 2 months in a moonboot again got to dance in at least one of her classes last night... and that girl didnt miss a beat... She is so resilient and soldiers on!

03.01.2022 My @abbigail_makin I only have the most beautiful and Amazing things to say about this girl! Her dancing is just the tip of my adoration for her... her focus, strength, resilience and never giving up... inspires me to be the teacher i am... to know the pushing and training has gotten Her to open up and broaden herself in so many styles and workshops competitions you name it makes me so humbled and grateful to be able to have this amazing student of 9 yrs! And now she is o...ff to leave us after being accepted into VCA (Victorian College of the Arts) and also given first year scholarship to live on campus. She also recieved $5,000 scholarship theough school to go towards her uni fees... and i cant think of anyone me deserving of it then her... I wish you the absolute best and i just know your gonna find yourself even more as a dancer and teacher! Im so blessed to have had you on our staff this year!
