The QLD First Home Buyers Grant is a one off payment of $20,000, available until midnight on 30 June 2017, for people who are building or buy a NEW home in QLD. After this, the grant reverts back to the original $15,000. The grant was boosted for a short time, to support first home buyers to get into their new home sooner.

14.01.2022 Prospective new home owners in North East Victoria have received a welcome leg-up from the state government after it doubled its first home owner grant. The grant will increase from $10,000 to $20,000 from July 1, and is expected to help around 6000 first home buyers across regional Victoria. The grant is available to first home buyers building new homes valued up to $750,000, but is not applicable to purchase existing homes.
