22.01.2022 Happy New Year!!! Here we are at the start of another year. A clean slate if you will. Uncharted territories. New adventures to be had. So what will you be doing this year? Have you set your intentions? I have chosen to do the One Little Word project again by Ali Edwards. For those whom are unfamiliar with this, you choose a word to live by for the next 12 months and document how it shows up for you in your life. Each month, Ali posts prompts and we use these as we se...e fit to document our word. It is an interesting journey that I have done several years now. Last year my word was Simplify. I chose to make my routines simpler, say no to free up my time, get back to nature, work on my relationships with others, read more books (actually start reading again) and so on. Really loved my time thinking about what the word meant to me and how to apply it in my life. This year my word is JOY. It is funny how you can either come up with the word immediately, or one grows on you slowly, but this year was different for me. I sat down and wrote a page of potential words and had it down to 3 possibilities. I got up on New Years Day and suddenly THIS word was EVERYWHERE. Bingo, my word had found me. J O Y !!! I look forward to seeing how this word shows up in my life this year and where it takes me. Let me know if you have done this project before and if you are doing so again. If you haven't, I encourage you all to set an intention for a word this year. You don't have to be a scrapbooker/artistic to do this project. You can simply sit with a word and keep coming back to it throughout the year or you could simply write your thoughts in a journal. Totally up to you.
