20.01.2022 After I got a 212 lb (94 kg) Yellowfin off the rocks on popper 2 days ago, I smashed this thing today. It went 161 lb (73 kg). Fight time was 1 hour 45 min. Vid...eo is coming when Im back at home. It also hit an Angel Tackle Popper. My wife is getting pissed off that I hook all the fish, she wants 1 as well. I told her that she can fight the next 1, not sure if she takes my rod, she wants to hook it herself. By the way she gaffed that 1 again. There was another guy wit us who put the second gaff in, thats why it is not so bashed up like the other 1. See more

02.01.2022 I think I just nailed the land based world record on spin! I havent heard of a bigger one yet, have you? Thanks to my wife who gaffed the fish for me ( second ...1 in her life), you did an awesome job! I love you! You guys can not imagine how hard it was to get the fish up on the rock with just the 2 of us and only 1 gaff. The fish was going absolute crazy. But thanks to all the hours my wife spent in the gym we got that thing up somehow. Sorry for the look of the fish, but we couldt land it in a better condition. The fish was caught on an Angel Tackle popper from Global Tackle in Sydney (Thanks a lot Wahyu that you believed in me and sponsored me these awesome lure). The fish was weight in at 212 lb (94kg)! Now I will have a few beers! Cheers guys! See more
