24.01.2022 Edit - we call them fritters & a very easy recipe. What ever you have in the way of leftover vegetables & meat, crack a few eggs, couple tablespoons of flour if you like, bit of soy sauce if you will. Mix all together & fry in a shallow pan until cooked. Anyone else make these? My husband Gregs go to for a very quick dinner & leftovers for days after. Can anyone name it? Ill edit this post later with Gregs recipe.

22.01.2022 Well Wishes Fathers Day Dad & to all the Dads out there working hard for their families & to the ones struggling. Bit of a personal share.... Dads been very unwell the last several months its been many years now battling depression, relationships struggles, financial hardship, domestic violence & alcoholism. Its hard to watch those you love struggling & its affects the whole family who are left watching a man they love going down that big black deep hole. A lot of familie...s arent celebrating this day with their father because its complicated & difficult. So to all those out there struggling - we send our thoughts, prayers & well wishes today on Fathers Day - which isnt so happy. We did a price comparison with Coles this week & you can purchase all this from Coles for $94.27 (thats 49% dearer). Our produce is also fresh & local - our local farmers have... picked yesterday & picking today so that you get fresh on your tabletop within a few days. Leave that 2-4 week old stuff at the supermarket.... do yourself a favour & experience the fresh stuff. 18.01.2022 I couldn't be more proud of my cousin Jamie-Lee Hilton. Today Jamie-Lee launched her GG (grab & go) cake display loaded with cupcakes, macarons, slices, cake balls & cookies. Everything listed for just $2 each & opening between 7:30 - 11:30am. I was there to help take photos for Teeze Cakes social media which lasted all of 45 minutes before I found myself behind the counter serving up Jamie-Lees customers as she completely SOLD OUT. Jamie knew she had cakes baked ready as ...backup & all that needed to be done was piping the icing & decorating. Jamie-Lees Mum & my Aunt Stella Hilton was out the back at full speed working too. Jamie-lee has her Mum working with her since the start of this year 3 days a week & has been Jamie-lees second biggest supporter after me *okay maybe I'm second. There was such a huge lineup of people still waiting to score her beautiful treats & Jamie didn't want to turn her customers away that had been waiting 20 minutes in a long line. It was a bit slow going while I served up each box but we got there in the end #soworththewait Alot of people know Jamie-Lee in our community here in Mareeba & her story is truly incredible. Jamie-Lee experienced a personal traumatic event a couple years ago that was shocking & turned her world upside down. A true strong Mother, she picked herself up & did what she needed to for herself & two children. Jamie-Lee is a qualified chef & has a huge amount of education & experience in health & nutrition working at the Mareeba Hospital for a few years. Jamie-lee took the gamble of quitting her fulltime government job to run her business fulltime at the start of this year. She spent over $35,000 renovating her carport into a full working commercial kitchen which is required when supplying restaurants, cafes & commercial businesses with her baked goods. Such a risky move doing this & then Covid19 happened!!!! Jamie-lee has never been busier with custom cakes booked out pretty well nearly all of 2021! The turnout today was amazing & she sold out over 1000 treats at 10:30am! This new GG cake display is going to be a regular thing opperating Thursday, Friday & Saturday between 7:30am - 10:30am. From the bottom of my heart I thank each & everyone of Jamie's friends, family, regular customers & new for turning up today.

09.01.2022 LYCHEES UPDATE! Hello our wonderful T2T Fans, we had the wonderful Australian Lychees Growers Association get in touch with us regarding our advertising of our delicious Lychees. We incorrectly advised that our Lychees were 50% ripe & 50% green & the green ones would ripen between 5-8 days.... So after further information from both the Australian Lychee Growers Association & thankfully one of our pro Lychees farmers here in Mareeba today we have confirmed local Lychee Growers Craig & Ellen has both the TaiSo & Fay Zee Siu - which is ripe however has green mottling on the skin. ALL OUR LYCHEES ARE RIPE! Just some with green mottling skin. Lychees do not ripen further like other fruit - we did not know this, the skin can turn a brown in colour but the flesh stays pretty well the same. THANK YOU so much to those who were concerned & brought this to our attention & to the Australian Lychee Growers Association. Pumpkin Beans Zucchini Eggplant Capsicum Shallots Cream or Coconut Milk *Garlic optional *Cheese optional *Bacon optional Receipe: Wash, peal & chop all vegetables how you wish, throw in an oven dish or layer as pictured.
