19.01.2022 I wanted to introduce myself, my name is Angela & I am the owner of Angela Galea’s singing school. I wanted to share some information about myself. I have been teaching singing for myself now for 5 years but before that I taught singing at forte music & vibe dance studios. I have taught for a total of 12 years now. I have always had a love & passion for music & singing. I started singing lessons at the age of 12 & grew my love over the years. I studied music at school & also... completed short singing courses at the Sydney Conservatorium. Did you know that after I finished high school I completed my apprenticeship and become a hairdresser. It was mid way through my apprenticeship that I knew my heart wasn’t into hair. I decided to finish my hairdressing & after travelled overseas for 3 months and when I came back I decided to embark my music education journey. I never felt good enough with my singing and lacked confidence but I knew this was something I had to do. I followed my heart and dived head first and auditioned at the Australian institute of music & was over the moon when I got accepted in. I first completed my diploma of contemporary music performance majoring in voice & then went on to complete a bachelor in contemporary performance music majoring in voice. I absolutely loved learning & I never look back with regret for following my heart. Since finishing my studies I have continued to grow as a musician & teacher. I am always learning & taking on short singing courses to keep my skills updated. Through the years I have struggled with performance anxiety and have learnt how to overcome these. As a teacher who has experienced these feelings I hope to teach my students how to overcome their fears and to be the best singers they can be!. Always follow your heart & never give up on your passions See more

16.01.2022 Dreams do come true

16.01.2022 Success comes from failure. If we do no fail at something we cannot get better!. Dont be afraid to try & fall down. It is all about getting back up & trying again.. be determined & dont forget that end goal!.. this is by far one of my favourite quotes from Michael Jordan..

07.01.2022 True vocal transformation requires hard work & dedication. You must decide to invest time & effort to grow your skill & talent to become the best singer you can be. Great singers are not born they are made. You can’t quit when it gets challenging. Keep working on your craft and you will get better even if it is small steps towards your goal you will notice a difference

04.01.2022 Please never compare your voice or journey to anyone else’s. We all have beautiful unique voices & everyone’s journey is different. We all started differently & we are all working on different vocal needs. Enjoy your singing journey & live in the moment. Make sure to celebrate your voice & progress & always be proud of how far you have come

02.01.2022 Another song Rory worked on this term called Waiving Through A Window from the Dear Evan Hansen Broadway!. Such a challenging song well done Rory!

02.01.2022 Is your mindset holding you back from progressing as a singer?. As singers it is important to overcome the limited beliefs and emotional blockages that affect our growth as singers. The way we talk to ourselves can either motivate us or can be sabotaging. Changing the way we think and rephrasing our inner dialogue can really help. The next time you tell yourself you cant do something rephrase that and tell yourself you can & you are willing to try. Believing in yourself is the first step to success. Anything is possible you just need to believe in yourself photo reshared from @kerrihardwickvoicestudio

01.01.2022 Thank you for your beautiful testimonial Lillian. I love teaching Mila & watching her confidence grow & voice transform every week
