23.01.2022 Christmas in July the weather is cold. Have family, friends, or neighbours over and enjoy some fun. I like to cook: Duck with Cranberry Sauce 30g butter ... 2 tablespoons oil No. 18 duck 1/4 cup orange juice 2 tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons brown vinegar 1 chicken stock cube, crumbled 2 cups water 1/4 cup cranberry sauce 2 teaspoons water, extra 2 tablespoons dry vermouth Heat butter and oil in baking dish, brush duck with butter mixture. Put a wire rack in baking dish, place duck on top. Bake in moderate oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until duck is tender, basting frequently with pan juices. Combine orange juice, sugar, vinegar, stock cube, water and cranberry sauce in saucepan, bring to the boil, boil rapidly until reduced by half. Remove duck from baking dish and keep warm. Pour off all the fat from the baking dish, place dish on top of stove. Add sauce to dish, bring to the boil, strain sauce into saucepan, stir in blended cornflour and extra water, stir constantly over heat until sauce boils and thickens. Remove from heat, stir in vermouth.

SPACE MANAGEMENT Create the illusion of more space. 18 Arrange furniture to give the rooms a spacious feeling. Consider removing some furniture from any room that may seem over crowded. If necessary, put large items in storage. 19 Pack up your collectables - both to protect them and to give the room a more spacious feel. Leave out just enough accessories to give the house a personal touch. 20 Remove all clutter and make it a habit to pick up clothing, shoes and personal possessions for each and every inspection or open house. 21 Empty cupboards of off-season clothing and pack them away for the move. Organise cupboards to demonstrate the most efficient use of space. Cup-boards should look as though there is room to put more. Leave as few a items as possible on floors and shelves. 22 Use light to create a sense of space. All drapes should be open. Turn on all lights throughout the house for showing.
