14.01.2022 Do you know how common pregnancy loss and infant loss are in Australia? Sadly, pregnancy loss and infant loss are more common in Australia than a death from a road accident. Our Taboo High Tea is designed as a safe place to come together as a community and support one another; whether you have experienced a loss yourself, are a support person or you are interested in the information we will be providing: you are welcome.

13.01.2022 This year's goal for the Taboo High Tea is to support 100 women and raise money to donate two CuddleCots to rural hospitals-one to Charleville Hospital QLD and one to Young Hospital NSW. Any money fundraised above the $5000 running cost for the Taboo High Tea, will go to Emerikus Land Foundation Giving the "Gift of Time & Memories" who provide Flexmort's CuddleCots throughout Australia. A bit about CuddleCots:... Each cot package is $5800. Flexmort’s CuddleCot has been internationally recognised across the world as significantly helping parents who suffer the loss of a baby. Dealing with the death of a baby is clearly an incredibly difficult event for parents and bereaved parents should be given the option of spending Time with their baby. Providing families Time through the use of the CuddleCot is internationally encouraged by midwives, bereavement practitioners, still birth/neonatal charities, and academics. Time allows the family to form an important bond with their baby; whether changing a nappy, dressing the baby, taking photographs or simply just staying close and this unquestionably helps families in dealing with their loss. The problem is that in a warm room the baby’s condition can deteriorate quickly, therefore cooling the baby is absolutely essential. Transferring to and from the morgue is now widely regarded as an outdated practice as it is traumatic for parents to repeatedly go through the separation process whereas the CuddleCot allows the family to spend every moment with their baby, precious moments where every minute counts. As you can imagine, this is a huge mission and I am just one person behind the scenes-I am determined to make this donation happen; if you can offer assistance in raising money or have any businesses that would benefit from the exposure and other great benefits we offer, please pass the information on! On the days I don't mention our son, I always feel like I've done him an injustice and it hurts but on those days, I don't have the energy to comfort the person I'm speaking to when they feel they've said something wrong. I love making our son apart of our every day, I am very open but I have a constant battle with myself about answering this question. ...
