15.01.2022 An Open Letter to Self. (And for the Beautiful people who wants to gain some insight and knowledge.) As a healer who descendant from a grandmother who was also known as a healer, and great grandmother who was known as a psychic healer.... I came to realise these past months as I was working on my business on my own. (With the assistance of beautiful people in my life.) It is not an easy task to simply Give healing Intent to others without healing one's own self. As someone who treats people not merely on a Physical state, Emotional, nor Spiritual but also on Energetic Level; This job does not just drain our physical energy into exhaustion but also our Mental and Emotional wellbeing. Thus, I came to a point that I must take care of my self first and foremost. I must be my own Master and Healer of My Own SELF. I have tried countless times to change my interest and work in different fields, but I could never get to bring myself to do so. Somehow, I always gravitate and return to this workspace. I enjoy this field. I really do. I love what I do. To give you an example, the fee is fixed for most treatments for 1 hour. Still, I in truth zone out of the world around me and zone into my healing work. Thus, I somehow give my clients more than 1-hour massage treatment. I try to do at least 1 hour and 15 minutes, but I always end up forgetting time as I focus and zoned into my work . 2 days ago, a client booked in for 1/hr and I accidentally gave him an hour and 40 minutes treatment. Yes, that is how much I love what I do. I literally forget time itself . (Nevertheless, this only happens on days that aren't very busy. Of course, we make sure we make time. In case we have arrangements later on for clients, and for the therapist with the next booking appointment.) My focus is genuinely on your own wellbeing and needs for real treatment. That is how much I care for my clients. My grandmother and great-grandmother were both therapists, as their side work and I believe I have received this gift from my family. Without my knowing about it. It somehow just happened over time. I practised massaging as young as I could remember in kindie time 5-6 years old massaging my own teachers at school during their break times. I would offer them myself, asking them if they want me to give them massages whenever I see them looking stressed.
