03.01.2022 As a jeweller I have enjoyed making rings that signify partnerships with silver, gold, platinum and with cubic zirconia, synthetic rubies and sapphires, moissanite, and 'traditional' natural diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, pearls - whatever that couple choose. Telling your personal story and creating something that represents your love is where the real value lies. As a partner I chose an engagement ring sans the large rock. I gave my partner an engagement ring also.... And because they were our own hands to give to one another: my engagement ring has always been on my left hand and my wedding ring on my right. Make your own meaningful traditions. They are the ones that will matter the most. When you find the right jeweller to tell your story they will do so with whatever gemstone you choose - or without gems if you prefer. Celebrating love is best served with freedom, not pressure.
