22.01.2022 Hello everyone! Hope you all had a lovely and safe Easter. I have just returned from a lovely holiday with my family, and need to tackle to massive pile of emails and quotes! Please be patient if you have sent me an email and I haven't yet responded. Also, just a quick reminder that your booking is not confirmed until I receive your deposit, and non payment by the date specified by the quote you received may mean that you miss out on the cake you have ordered! Wedding cakes in particular can take weeks of preparation in making flowers/decorations, so if you have a cake ordered through me in the next few weeks, please check your email! :-)

18.01.2022 Please forgive the quality of the photo, the charger for my camera has been immersed in play dough by my son. This was a toy story cake I made- vanilla buttercake with white chocolate ganache. Was a big hit with the birthday boy!

18.01.2022 Christening cake was a huge hit- I have a feeling I might be busy next year. I very rarely attend the event I have made a cake for, and I took so many compliments this morning I was sure I would pull a muscle in my face from smiling so much lol. I'll put pictures up tomorrow- they're not the best quality as I had to deliver it into a crowded room, but I still love the cake :-)

17.01.2022 Hello everyone! Firstly I'd like to thank all my lovely likers for all of your support during this very difficult time. My father is recovering well, although slowly. Thankyou also for being understanding if I didn't always get back to you as quickly as I usually do. 16.01.2022 I love my banana cake recipe- I've adapted it to cope with the weight of fondant by making it quite dense, so it's almost like a banana mud cake, and it's super moist too! One little scrap piece for me with my coffee for afternoon tea I think today!

13.01.2022 Just realised I hadn't posted a photo of this cake either! It is a 2d car cake made as a surprise- yummy marble mud cake with hazelnut filling and chocolate ganache! Zoom! Zoom!

13.01.2022 And so the baking has begun! This will be my first attempt at macarons, which I'm pretty excited about, as well as ombre push pops! I'm thinking redskin and white chocolate with salted caramel for the macarons...yummy...and my salted caramel is awesome as usual, made from scratch!

08.01.2022 Hi all, just letting you know Angel's Cakes is moving! Out to Angle Vale! So I have now closed any new orders from now until the beginning of May, as I need to not only move house but also set up council inspection and get approval before I open up for orders. Any orders paid for or paid deposit I will be informing council about but I don't see any issues arising. Thanks for your patience!

06.01.2022 Cake is all done. I'll post a pic after the birthday person gets their cake. On a side note, I unfortunately need to close for the next couple of months. My family is going through a difficult time as my father has had a series of heart attacks and bypass surgery, followed by a stroke. All orders that have been paid for will of course be completed, but as I will be using the immediate future to be with my family, I will be very inactive on this page. However, I will still check my emails regularly, so if you have any enquiries for after July, please email me at [email protected]. I do apologise for any inconvenience.

05.01.2022 I do apologise that I haven't been around lately, we've been house hunting! So for those of my likers that live in the northern suburbs, once we find a place and I get it approved by council (as all legitimate food business need to be), I'll be letting everyone know where I'll be, and how long Angel's Cakes might be closed while we move house!
