25.01.2022 Well we are little way into July and I'm sure I am like many of you and have just kind of merged into the new financial year - having collated all of last years bibs and bobs ready for the accountant etc. Working away today I started to think ....... Have you set this weeks/months/years goals? - Most of us have an idea on where we we want to be (roughly) but have you sat down and worked out specifics..... are you working at setting S.M.A.R.T. goals? Grab a coffee, computer ...(or old fashion pen and paper) and take a few moments to work on some of your goals. This is step one, and it can sometimes be the hardest (Talking from personal experience here by the way)..... but how do you move your business forward without a direction....(yes I am preaching to myself as well here...) Happy goal setting .....

18.01.2022 Ahh there is a change in the weather - I can feel it - Winter is on it's way. The joy of working from home is that I don't have to get up extremely early to get ready to commute to work - though I do get up at 3am to get hubby up and off to work... I can keep my warm slippers on and get stuck into work for my clients, checking my emails and theirs, do the accounts, write some posts, update a blog, edit some manuals, update a website and still be toasty warm. ... Doesn't mean I'm not immune to the cold just means I can be comfy.

17.01.2022 With all that is going on in the world good and bad, it can be hard to stay focused on your business ....I mean when you work from home it is sooo much easier to jump on-line and check out the news or a sale or even when researching for your business you can go down that never ending time wasting road called you tube - the next thing you know you are watching the best cat/dog/goat videos and it's 3am .... 17.01.2022 It's that time of year again - when creepy crawly things start to move about setting up home around your wheelie bin and under the handle. Now that most councils have introduced the three bin system it means that there are now more opportunities to take up residence around and under the handles, and not to mention the flies ........ that can get into the bins. .. 16.01.2022 I had a timely reminder today that you need to READ everything carefully. In the mail I received a bill for $275.00 for my domain name - Now I know who hosts my domain .... so why was I being sent a bill from another company ? Reading the document carefully I noticed in fine print "This is an invitation to register......" This company had nothing to do with my domain hosts - but just to be sure I contacted them ... and forwarded a copy of this for their records as I was tol...d that this sort of scam is not an isolated case for people who have their own domain name. Do you know who has your domain name? Is it part of your hosting fees? Luckily I was aware of this information but this company is obviously hoping that there are many out there who may not know this information, and will pay it without question. Make sure you have these details and if you are unsure - ask your web designer or host like I did (Thanks Guy Designs)
