11.01.2022 Miss Vivian took the stick insects out so that the children could have a better look at them. It was hard to spot them all at once as they were good at camouflaging. The children expressed that they look dark, spiky and their legs are thin. 11.01.2022 What a meaningful Anzac Day excursion. Our children visited the local retirement village today! This stemmed from parent contribution. Parent sent us a photo of her grandmother who was part of the World War 2, and has recently turned 100 years of age. We took our preschool children and gave them the opportunity to participate in Anzac Day themed activities which allowed the children to interact with the residents there. We also got to meet Iris who is the great grandmother of one of the children who attends Alfred Academy Early Learning Centre. Australian native flowers were given out by the children to the residents.
