I just wanted to let you know that term 2 at DANCING WILL BE STARTING BACK ON WEDNESDAY THE 1ST OF MAY and I cannot wait to get back to it!! 22.01.2022 Our stretch class is absolutely amazing!! Just look how hard everyone is trying to perfect their leg hold their legs are so much higher already after just a few classes!! Every single one of these kids are achieving new personal bests every lesson!!

21.01.2022 Our little ones absolutely loved putting on their wings to practice their butterfly dance this week!! I can't wait to see their smiling faces back today for some more cuteness and to work on holding correct turnout, posture and weight placement

20.01.2022 DANCE - ITS ON AGAIN !!! It is with great pleasure (and crossed fingers) that we announce our Dance Eisteddfod will run from Saturday 26 September to Sunday ...4 October. Due to physical distancing requirements, we will only be offering sections for solos, duos and trios. Groups can not be accommodated safely at the moment. IF YOU HAD ALREADY ENTERED and still want to come along please check your Stardom entry and make sure those are still the sections you want to enter. If you want to add a new section or two - or if you want to delete a section you had entered before - select the "Edit" option and make the changes online. If the new dates dont suit you, that is OK and we hope to see you again next year at our usual time. Just send us an email and we will organise a refund. IF YOU HAVENT ENTERED YET and want to - hop online and do so in Stardom (via our website). For those who prefer a paper form still, the amended entry form will be on our website tomorrow (Thurs) to download. The last day for new or amended entries is Saturday 1 August.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, woohoo our end of year concert tickets are on sale now!! We will be having 2 concerts again this year, one on the 14th of December starting at 4:30pm and one on the 15th of December starting at 1:00pm! Tickets will be $17.50 each including a BBQ and sweet treats plus a drink during the intermission break!! There will be no limit on the amount of tickets per customer as we are having 2 concerts so feel free to invite all of your family and friends as Im sure the...y would love to come along and watch our talented kiddies and enjoy our amazing intermission break BBQ Its going to be such a great show and we really hope to see you there! 20.01.2022 Hi everyone, it is with much sadness that after the announcement on the weekend all non essential business are being forced to close. Although we consider dancing an essential part of our dance families health and well-being we have a social responsibility to the more vulnerable members of our community and will be closing our doors TODAY until we get through this terrible pandemic, and WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS! My number one priority is and always has been my dance kiddies a...nd their parents/carers, I am so grateful to have you all as part of my dance family. I know all the kiddies will still want to keep dancing so I am currently in the process of setting up online classes and will let you know as soon as Ive got it all organised which should be next week so keep an eye out for my next messages!! I know alot of you are in the same boat as me DEVASTATED by the loss your jobs/businesses so if we all support eachother through this diffuclt time we will all get through it together and our studio will come back better and brighter then ever!! And I will try to do my best to give your kiddies something to look forward to as I know they all love dancing so much and it makes them and me happy!! 17.01.2022 Our zoom dance classes have been so much fun!! We had a few hiccups and laughs at the start but the kids have been loving it!! Im so glad we have this opportunity to still dance with eachother I cant wait to see you all again next week to start term 2 off with some more awesome online classes!!

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I hope you have all had an amazing Christmas and a very Happy New Year!! 2019s End of Year Concert at Angel-Stars Studios saw another two fantastic sell out concerts that were thoroughly enjoyed by all I am so proud of everyones hard work throughout last year, you all did so well as always and I know 2020 at dancing is going to be even better!! I have been missing my little dance family so much and I hope you are as excited as I am to start back for the new year woohoo!! I am also so excited to welcome all of our new students into our studio, you are going to love it!!

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Wow this Coronavirus is very scary and confusing so we just wanted to let you know we have been advised to follow the same advice as schools. At this stage classes will continue as long as schools are open. It is however important to protect the more vulnerable members of our community. So in the meantime these are the measures we have put in place. We are sanitizing barres and equipment as well as high touch areas at the beginning and end of each class. Deep cl...eaning the entire studio on weekends. We are encouraging frequent hand washing with soap and have installed a paper towel dispenser in the bathroom. We are discouraging close contact and are avoiding giving hugs and high-fives, replacing them with fist pumps and toe taps. We are asking all children to bring their own WATER BOTTLE as the water dispenser and cups will no longer be used. We are asking all parents to wait outside in the fresh air according to government social distancing recommendations. We also ask children who are sick or have a sick family member to stay home. If you have traveled please observe all formal quarantine/government restrictions. Due to the shortage of hand sanitizer we are encouraging children to bring their own. See more

We all had such a fun time and of course the Snow Queen Ballet performanc by Brisbane City Youth Ballet was amazing The kiddies were in absolute awe of all the dancers and their costumes haha!! Also a big thanks to Peter at Lawrence Bus Service and Carl for driving our crazy group all the way to Home of the Arts Gold Coast. Let's start planning our next excursion already!! Hehe

03.01.2022 DANCE - AN UNCLEAR FUTURE (AGAIN) We have finalised the Dance Program but have NOT taken them to the Post Office as a number of changes issued by NSW Health in ...the last few days might affect whether or not we can go ahead. The main issue for us is whether or not an eisteddfod is classified as a sport (and confusingly, we have been told both "no" and "yes" in recent weeks). If "yes" - then the new advice from the Chief Health Officer is that for 6 weeks from today there can be no event that has people from different districts or regions mixing, no activity that results in an overnight stay, and spectators will be limited to one parent attending with their child. This period of restriction ends smack in the middle of our scheduled event. Ausdance NSW (the peak body for dance in this State) has been formally liaising with NSW Dept Health about eisteddfods , how they are classified and what rules apply to them. We are eagerly awaiting the outcome of those talks. In addition, from Monday (17th) NSW schools have a new list of restrictions imposed for 6 weeks and Term 3. We are seeking clarification about whether these new restrictions will now prevent them renting us their Hall. Our Committee will meeting in the next few days to review the restrictions and any clarification that we can get. We will let you know the outcome as soon as we possibly can. We have gone from feeling excited to feeling rather frustrated.
